Oops, Britney did it again! Britney Spears, the queen of social networking has started the ball on her google+ account and has so far wracked up 2 million friends. Based on figures the queen of pop has been adding 30 thousand users a day since she joined the site.
Of course it’s not the largest social networking platform that Britney Spears has. She currently has 17.3 million fans on Facebook, and 13.2 million followers on Twitter, although she does use all three platforms to post identical statuses and updates.
Those who are looking forward to seeing Spears on video on google+ thus far have been disappointed as the singer has yet to discover that “hangout” feature just yet.
In other Britney news earlier in the month Inquisitr reported that Spears was thinking of going on “Modern Family” after she tweeted about loving the show. On Thursday, In Touch reported that Britney Spears was very excited about the NBC Marilyn musical hit “Smash” and was possibly angling for a role. However, a source close to the show has said that the rumors are false and there’s no talk of the pop star taking up a role on the show.
As of right now “Smash” is in its final episodes of the season, and given its hectic schedule with choreography, scenes, musical numbers, etc, it isn’t the easiest thing to pop in a character at the last minute. Maybe next year?
