If, like me, you downloaded the demo of Aliens vs. Predator and found yourself playing an overly brown shooter with terrible matchmaking and lag straight from 2001, then this post isn’t for you.
On the other hand, if you were a fan of the Aliens / Predator films, Steam is having another of its famous sales, knocking 33% off Aliens vs. Predator for this weekend only. The first-person shooter can now be got for $33.49 (it’s usually $49.99 for the PC version).
I hear the same story about this game everywhere I look: great for lovers of the film, mediocre for everyone else. If you’re in the former group, it’s time to dust down the wallet.
