Adrienne Bailon has spoken out about her relationship with Rob Kardashian — and apparently it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies. According to Us Weekly , Bailon recently opened up about her rocky road with the youngest Kardashian, saying that being involved with him negatively impacted both her career and her personal life in general. She says that she has been blamed for “ruining Rob’s life” for far too long.
“To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late — not that it would’ve affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would’ve affected my decision to appear on the show… To this day, people will still say, ‘You ruined Rob’s life!’ and I’ll think, ‘Damn, I was still playing with Barbie dolls when I met him.”
Adrienne Bailon dated Rob Kardashian from 2007 to 2009. It was easily one of the most serious relationships that the two had ever been in, and many say that Rob was never the same after he and Adrienne split. The reason for their break-up, however, wasn’t Adrienne’s fault… at least not completely. The singer says that Rob cheated on her, betrayed her trust, and completely ruined what they had together.
“It’s common knowledge that he cheated on me… In my situation, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my God! I made a mistake!’ He strategically planned things out so that he could cheat on me, and that to me was so disloyal.”
According to The Inquisitr , Adrienne Bailon recently made the decision to get her Rob tattoo removed — five years after she broke up with him. This is the third time that she has tried to have the tattoo lasered off — the first two times were unsuccessful because the tattoo was so well done — it barely even faded. Rob had his tattoo for Adrienne removed years ago.
And it is beyond clear that this tattoo has to go. Bailon revealed that she’s ready to take the next step with her boyfriend of five years, Def Jam Executive Lenny Santiago. According to Necole Bitchie , there’s only one thing holding Adrienne back… her new show The Real isn’t filmed in New York City which makes things a bit difficult.
“If by some miracle we started taping ‘The Real’ in New York tomorrow, I’d marry him, like, right now. I want a family. I see my sister and she’s on her second baby, and I’m like, That’s success. Having a family—I can’t wait for that.”
