Melania Trump, our First Lady, is known for her quintessential beauty and fashion sense but there’s something else she’s known for and that’s her clean diet. You may anticipate that almost every element of your life will be the focus of public attention if you’re a celebrity, particularly if you’re the world-famous kind. Consider US President Donald Trump, who is always in the news for his unhealthy eating habits. (You may take a look for yourself by looking at everything that Donald Trump eats every day, which consists primarily of meat and fast food.)
On the other hand, you might visualize a First Lady who is concerned about her health if you looked at every aspect of Melania Trump’s daily diet. Among Melania’s staple foods are fruits, vegetables, fat-free yogurt, heart-healthy oatmeal, and olive oil. It does not, however, imply that Melania always consumes only healthy meals. She even previously admitted that her favorite dish is one that is high in fat and flavor—a particular restaurant’s version of chicken parmigiana.
Melania Trump revealed in a 2010 New York Magazine interview that she made her own breakfast every morning. Although this interview was conducted prior to her tenure as First Lady, it is reasonable to infer that her schedule has undergone significant changes since then.
Interestingly, however, she acknowledged that she put a lot of work into cooking, but she also acknowledged that she loved the “variety of amazing foods” that New York has to offer. And what is her favorite food of all time? “The Chicken Parmigianino [sic] at Jean-Georges,” which is a reference to the Trump International Hotel & Tower New York’s Michelin-starred eatery.
Are you thinking of trying it yourself? To our surprise, we were unable to locate it on the Jean-Georges menu when we looked to see if it was still there. You can try making it at home, though, as it’s not that hard to locate the recipe online.

The essential ingredients of chicken parmigiana, also known as chicken parmesan, are a deep-fried boneless chicken breast and a generous amount of parmesan cheese, two ingredients you’ll probably find in almost any “basic” version of the recipe. Egg whites, all-purpose flour, and freshly ground black pepper are staples in several online versions of the Jean-Georges recipe; at least one adds cracker pieces and olive oil for visual appeal.
Nevertheless, it’s a fairly well-known fact that Melania Trump is a health nut among the Trump family. In addition to her well-known love of fruits and vegetables, the First Lady enjoys including wholesome smoothies in her daily routine.
She listed the items she uses in her blender for her morning smoothie in a 2013 Facebook post. These include apples, blueberries, carrots, celery, fat-free yogurt, flax seeds, olive oil, and spinach.
2/ Dietary Changes
Trump has moved from a fast-food-heavy diet to healthier choices like salads and soups.
Prompted by his doctor’s advice, this shift reduces fat and carbs, supporting weight loss and better health.

Melania Trump enjoys drinking more than just smoothies; she also enjoys fruit juice (her breakfast smoothie contains orange and lemon juice) and, surprisingly, Diet Coke, or as she put it in her interview with New York Magazine, “Diet Coke from the classic glass bottles.”
Melania Trump’s diet does not include one common dish, though. Sushi is off limits to her since she dislikes raw fish. She stated, “I made it known that I do not eat raw fish,” in her 2024 autobiography of the same name.
She and her spouse both have this gastronomic liking. In fact, it has been claimed that she insisted on not having sushi served to them on a 2019 presidential visit to Japan. Her decision to stay away from raw fish isn’t really unusual, regardless of her motivation. A 2021 Mashed survey found that 15% of participants didn’t enjoy raw fish.
Melania has also stated that she dislikes two other foods, both of which are generally regarded as healthful. Melania revealed that although she does like veggies, artichokes and onions are the exception during a 2005 visit on Martha Stewart’s show (via Miami Herald).
