The rumors are also a result of Michelle’s personal visibility. Or one can say invisibility. People have assumed that as long as there was a chance for Kamala Harris to win the election, the Obamas were pretending to be together. Just as she lost the election to Donald Trump, the appearance wasn’t doing anything for the democratic party. Therefore, Obama decided to go separate ways, at least rhetorically. They are hardly ever seen together. Michelle even goes on podcasts alone.
The former first couple has also put their summer home up for sale. Their summer property on Martha’s Vineyard was listed for an incredible $39 million. This has fuelled the fire.

Recently, Michelle Obama stated that she has resumed therapy. She went on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast. There, she stated that treatment is assisting her in acclimating to this new phase of her life. “I’m transitioning… every choice I’m making is completely mine,” she said. Her emphasis on personal growth and independence made it sound as if she were breaking barriers.
There may be posts on social media where both have acknowledged each other as the love of their lives, but their lives outside the social media are telling a different story. They are not spending as much time together.
