‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 Will See Highest Number Of Characters Die

Game Of Thrones Season 4 will see many of its characters die, in what could be the highest death toll of any season.

The fantasy period drama is currently in production and as such speculation is rampant as to who will meet its end this time around and if you thought last season was bad, well, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Some clues can be found in the R.R. Martin’s novels, but for those who are only watching the show and haven’t read the books it is not certain.

For those in the latter situation, it can be somewhat unnerving to think who could get the ax next.

But one of the show’s stars Kit Harrington, had some interesting things to say in that department during an interview with Access Hollywood.

“It doesn’t get any easier this season, it’s quite a high octane, action packed one…. More deaths this season than any other! I can’t tell you who dies. You’d think they’d tone the deaths down, but they don’t. They’ve realized that’s a successful option, so they’re just killing more people than we’ve ever killed.”

That doesn’t bode well for Game Of Throne fans who are waiting in pins and needles to see what will happen to their favorite character next.

After witnessing the Red Wedding in Season 3, loyal followers can’t get enough of the blood and gore that has been a staple of the series thus far.

The third season is based on the first half of the novel A Storm Of Swords which is the third in the A Song Of Ice And Fire novels and was written for television by David Benioff. Season 4 will deal with the second half of the novel.

The critically acclaimed series is currently being filmed in Iceland. Game Of Throneswith more blood shed than ever, is set to return to HBO in March of 2014.
