So Larry David , Barack Obama, and pals did a round of golf on Saturday for the last day of presidential vacation in Martha’s Vineyard.
The 66-year-old Curb Your Enthusiasm star and the leader of the free world rounded out their golf foursome with US trade rep Ron Kirk and Boston Celtics co-owner Glenn Hutchins.
The New York Daily News said it was a low-key last day of vacation for the president. Apparently he has spent most of his vacation days on the golf course. He also took some time Saturday to visit a beach with the First Family and to have dinner at a restaurant overlooking the harbor.
Larry David, President Obama , and pals played at Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs.
The modest and unassuming golf course bills itself as “one of the better courses in the country.” It’s a semi-private golf course on Martha’s Vineyard in a lovely location overlooking Nantucket Sound.
Seems legit to me.
But Donald Trump has been all bitter and brooding about it, at least in his Twitter feed.
Maybe The Donald thinks Larry David and the president should have played at one of his golf courses. Or maybe he’s just grandstanding to his fans as usual. In any event, the very active tweeter had a few nasty words to say on the occasion of the president’s vacation:
