Salina Ouija Board Incident: Citizen Taunts Councilman With Dead Dad [Listen]

Salina, KS – The weird news web is buzzing about something called the Salina Ouija board incident during which an upset citizen attended a City Commission meeting to taunt a councilman by attempting to contact his dead father.

Yeah, weird.

Ray Hruska got into a heated argument with Councilman Aaron Householter at the meeting, and the two went back and forth until Hruska threw a haymaker: He threatened to call Householter’s father to get the politician to act more respectfully.

Householter responded that his father is dead and that Hruska would need a Ouija board to successfully contact him.

This week, Hruska made good on the tip and brought a Ouija board along to the meeting.

“Contact was made using this Ouija board, and he [Householter’s dead father] responded with … ‘Aaron, keep quiet!'”

Hruska added, “Your granddaddy said ‘Keep quiet,’ too.”

In response to the Salina Ouija board flap, Councilman Householter mocked Hruska, adding his own opinion of what his father might have said if he really did speak from the grave.

“I think he’d look at someone like you and say, ‘Why do you even let these guys come to your meeting and speak?'”

The mayor intervened and dismissed Hruska from the mic, moving forward with the public comments portion of the meeting.
