Jamie Lee Curtis Resting At Home Following Car Crash
Jamie Lee Curtis is resting at home following a car crash on Friday.
The Halloween star was taken to a local hospital after her limo was struck at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Rose Avenue in Venice, California.
Although Curtis said she was in some pain following the collision, the doctors eventually gave her a clean bill of health. A representative for the actress said she is currently getting some much-needed rest at home after being discharged from the hospital.
“Jamie was indeed a passenger in a car involved in a collision this a.m. She went to the hospital to be checked out, but she is fine and is home resting,” a spokesperson for the True Lies star told E! Online.
After the car crash took place, Jamie Lee Curtis reportedly phoned her close friend Jodie Foster for support. The Silence of the Lambs star rushed to the scene to comfort the actress before paramedics arrived.
Curtis and one other passenger were taken to an area hospital to get checked out. She was later released with minor injuries. Although initial reports were sketchy at best, the star escaped the accident without any severe wounds.
Shortly after news of the car crash started making the rounds online, a number of Jamie Lee Curtis fans swamped Twitter with well-wishes. While she hasn’t appeared in a Halloween movie in years, she is still a beloved horror icon.
