Driver Flees With Cop On Hood Of Car [Dash Cam Video]

Dashboard cameras in Russia have captured some incredible moments. From road rage, to car accidents, to meteors crashing into earth. The latest video shows a driver trying to flee police with an officer on the hood of his car.

According to Sky News, 30-year-old Sergei Siluyanova was pulled over by officer Alexander Seleznez for making an illegal turn. Siluyanova waits until the officer is standing in front of his car and then decides to try and escape.

Siluyanova plows into the officer who manages to avoid getting run over by jumping onto the hood of the car. Siluyanova continues to drive as the officer screams at him to stop the vehicle. Eventually, Seleznez falls off the hood of the car and Siluyanova drives away.

The police officer was taken to the hospital after the incident and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Siluyanova may have been able to leave the scene without a ticket but he was arrested a two days after the incident when police were able to track down his vehicle. Siluyanova, who already has theft and drug charges on his record, said that he fled the scene because he did not want to go back to jail.
