Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne may have fallen out after an embarrassing incident last month when the 20-year-old model crashed the stage while the 23-year-old singer was performing at a DKNY fashion party.
During that widely panned event described as “their car crash performance” by The Daily Mirror , Cara Delevingne grabbed the mic, attempted to sing, and even did a grind dance on Rita Ora from behind. The UK tabloid ran photos and even a video, so you can see for yourself and decide if it’s really that awful.
I’ve already checked it out. Ouch. There’s a lot to be said for Rita Ora’s form-fitting metallic jeans but otherwise the show can only be described as absolutely dreadful.
Apparently, Ora and Delevingne have come a long way from the days when they were calling each other “wifey.”
Now The Mirror said that Rita Ora is calling designer Stella McCartney her new wifey.
The Daily Mail offered an alternate theory about Rita Ora’s latest, reporting that she was back with ex-boyfriend Dave Gardner, at least for one dinner at a Notting Hill restaurant where she was photographed in a romantic but revealing white summer dress.
But both tabloids agreed that nobody seems to have seen Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne together since the disastrous DKNY party performance. The Mail quoted a source who said that Ora was embarrassed even while the awful spectacle was underway: “Rita tried to take the microphone back a couple of times before succeeding, only for Cara to snatch it off her again and carry on singing out of tune.”
Meanwhile, Delevingne reportedly recently rented a yacht in Monte Carlo with Ora’s arch-nemesis Rihanna.
I can hear Rita Ora’s inner fourth-grader screaming right about now: “Stop talking about me, you two!”
