Pippa Middleton May Sue Over Spoof ‘Pippa Tips’
Pippa Middleton doesn’t really find Pippa Tips very funny.
Kate Middleton’s little sister is reportedly thinking about filing a lawsuit against Mat Morrisroe, Suzanne Azzopardi, and book publishers, Icon Books over Pippa Tips.
According to ANI, Pippa Middleton took offense to the novelty Twitter account and its subsequent book and wants the account to be deleted. Middleton’s lawyers have apparently written a letter to Icon Books asking for them to delete @PippaTips.
The spoof account was started earlier this year to make fun of Pippa’s critically slammed book Celebrate. The book was panned for its obvious party planning advice (Pippa writes that “games are fun” and that “stargazing is best at night”) and Mat Morrisroe, Suzanne Azzopardi decided to start a Twitter account to moch the book. Pippa Tips now has over 50,000 followers and helpd Morrisroe and Azzopardi land a book deal.
They recently published When One is Expecting: A Posh Person’s Guide to Pregnancy and Parenting with Icon Books and now Pippa is thinking about a lawsuit.
Her lawyers Harbottle ‘n’ Lewis have reportedly written to Icon Books with the hopes of getting When One is Expecting: A Posh Person’s Guide to Pregnancy and Parenting off the shelves and @PippaTips off the internet.
