Flat Viewing Couple Find Dead Man In Bed

A couple who were viewing a flat to rent in Perth, Australia, were shocked to find a dead man in the abode’s bed when they were being shown around.

The 35-year-old Brazilian man had apparently been lying there for days, but was discovered by the duo and their estate agent as they viewed the one-bedroom apartment.

Rebecca Hayward as with her boyfriend at the time of the discovery, and the pair said that as soon as they entered the building there was an overwhelming horrible smell that was reminiscent of “dead cats.”

When they informed the female estate agent that was showing them around, she then stared in horror at the body and burst into tears.

Several couples were being shown around the flat, and Hayward and her beau were in the living room with the agent when the body was found.

“The boyfriend of the other couple was walking into the bedroom when he turned, grabbed his girlfriend on the shoulders and turned her away,” Hayward stated.

“He came out and said there was something dead in there and I asked if it was a cat. Be he said, no, it was a person, a human, a body. The real estate agent gave us all a funny look, but then when she saw the body she turned around and there were tears in her eyes,” she added.

The Brazilian made had apparently been dead for several days, but his demise wasn’t reportedly suspicious. Hayward added that she couldn’t believe that the flat hadn’t been inspected before their arrival, and they were now struggling due to the trauma of seeing the body.
