Play Halo 3, help Haiti

If you’re a Halo 3 player struggling to drum up a donation to any of the charities connected with the Haiti relief effort, then Halo developer Bungie is offering to donate something on your behalf.

All you have to do is drag your derriere onto Xbox Live next Wednesday or Thursday, switch your Halo 3 (or Halo ODST) emblem to the heart in the screenshot above (very important, that), and play any online mode in the game.

In other words, you get to play a fun game, and assist some desperately needy fellow human beings… all for free. I’m not sure how Bungie could ask you to do any less. For every 1,000 people who play, Bungie is making a $100 donation to the American Red Cross for Haiti relief efforts, up to a maximum of $77,000. You can read more about it here.
