Lindsay Lohan is allegedly humiliated that the world knows she is living back at home with mom Dina on Long Island. As previously reported by The Inquisitr , The Lohan women were supposedly served with possible foreclosure papers from Chase Bank on Thursday.
The former Disney star supposedly begged a wealthy friend to let her stay at their New York City apartment, Radar Online reports. A Lindsay insider is also claiming that the star is so broke that she could not afford to rent a two-bedroom apartment in North Hollywood. The actress allegedly did not have a good enough credit score to pass the background check and did not have the cash necessary for the deposit.
The foreclosure papers allegedly served on the Long Island property reportedly named both Lindsay and Dina in the paperwork, the New York Post notes. The home was supposedly in danger of repossession both last year and in 2005.
The Lohan source had this to say about the movie star’s woes:
“Lindsay was absolutely mortified and humiliated over the reports that she was living back at home with Dina. She was thoroughly embarrassed that people knew how bad her finances are and exactly how broke she is.”
The alleged Lindsay pal also claims that the star often wears out her welcome. The Mean Girls star is allegedly a “total slob” and “smokes like a chimney.” If the Long Island home is foreclosed upon, Lindsay may once again be searching for a place to live. She was recently renting a spacious home in Beverly Hills.
