Admitting her determination to shape up, Kardashian revealed her ketogenic diet details to her fans. Kim has been turning to Instagram to flaunt her 75-pound weight loss success, wearing impressively tight styles that show off her hourglass shape.
Prior to starting on her diet health kick, however, Kardashian indulged in one last junk food feast, which will be featured on the Sunday, November 5, episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, reported Us Weekly.
Kim Kardashian Gobbles Final Cheat Of Ice Cream & Pizza
Kim confessed to her buddy Jonathan Cheban that she was ready to shape up, but she planned one final cheat meal before her diet.
“If I could have one last meal, I think it’d be New York pizza.”
Khloe Kardashian joined Kim and Jonathan on their junk food adventure, heading to two pizza places before finishing up with Kim’s desire for “something sweet.” Kardashian had no regrets for her final dessert of ice cream cones.
“I honestly could not have imagined a better last supper,” said Kim.
Following that last supper of pizza and ice cream, Kardashian got serious about her ketogenic food plan. She has discussed her 75-pound weight loss on her low-carb diet. And in contrast to Kim’s “last supper” of junk food, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s meals exclude sugar and starch such as ice cream and pizza.
Kardashian recently revealed her steps to diet success, including her top weight loss tip, reported the Cheat Sheet. And don’t underestimate just how rigid her diet plan has become.
“She follows a very…strict diet plan.”
But Kim has come up with some tips to help boost her weight loss, including one diet secret that she views as the key to her success. Although Kardashian is now known as an Atkins dieter, she followed the plan even before she attained her current level of fame.
Kim Kardashian Swears By Ketogenic Atkins Diet
Kim’s Atkins diet plan limits carbohydrates, which is why that pizza cheat is now off her menu. Instead of carbohydrates such as pasta and bread, Kardashian goes for protein such as fish. She also eats vegetables such as lettuce and healthy fats such as olive oil.
Kim’s nutritionist, Colette Heimowitz, offered an example of how Kardashian can stick to her ketogenic diet even when she is on vacation and dining in restaurants.
“There’s always protein on the menu and you have it with salad with olive oil and cooked vegetables with butter on it.”
Colette also explained how to indulge in a small amount of carbohydrates. In addition to that plate of protein, vegetables, and healthy fats, ketogenic dieters like Kim can treat themselves to a small amount of rice served on the side.
Kim Kardashian Stays Hydrated To Achieve Goal Weight
Kardashian has a packed schedule, parenting her two kids, filming for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and working out. But she views it as essential to stay hydrated. Kim consumes approximately 64 ounces of water a day.
To help her stay on track, Kardashian has set a goal weight of 120 pounds. Following her cheat sweet of ice cream, Kim substitutes Atkins diet treats for dessert. And rather than snack on pizza, Kardashian goes for fresh raw vegetables dipped in hummus.
Kim has been flaunting her success on Instagram, wearing a seemingly endless supply of skin-tight styles.
Above all, Kim has one top diet tip that she keeps in mind. In addition to tracking her carbohydrates while boosting her intake of protein and healthy fats, Kardashian counts calories.
“The reality star typically eats between 1,500-1,800 calories a day — but, no more than 1,800.”
By counting calories and carbohydrates, drinking plenty of water, and exercising, Kim has achieved her 75-pound weight loss despite her packed schedule.
