Justin Bieber Reportedly Texting Selena Gomez Constantly, ‘Thrilled’ That The Weeknd Dumped Her

Justin Bieber is rumored to have struck gold when it comes to romantic relationships. Without even trying, Bieber has found himself in the enviable position of supporting the woman who reportedly always had his heart, Selena Gomez, after she got dumped by The Weeknd. To flip the switch back to “on” in his famously off and on relationship with Selena, Justin reportedly has been constantly texting Gomez as he seeks to win her back.

The Weeknd Dumped Selena Gomez By Phone

When it comes to celebrity relationships that end abruptly, the big question always comes down to who got dumped. In the case of Gomez and The Weeknd, TMZ is reporting that The Weekend instigated the split. And don’t blame the Biebs.

“The Weeknd is the one who ended his relationship with Selena Gomez…and it had nothing to do with Justin Bieber.”

Several insiders confirmed to TMZ that Selena’s romance with The Weeknd has been crumbling since summer. The former lovebirds’ schedules meant that they didn’t even see each other often, and they also began communicating less frequently on the phone.

Because The Weekend was happy being single and free to mingle prior to beginning his relationship with Gomez, he was the one who “felt unfairly tied down in a relationship that had lost its passion,” according to the sources. That unhappiness led to his decision to call Selena and dump her via the phone. Ouch.

Justin Bieber Makes Smooth Move In Rekindling Jelena

Meanwhile, the sources are also giving Justin credit for playing no role in the split. Bieber waited to reignite his own romance with Selena, but as soon as he learned that Gomez and The Weeknd were over, he began his alleged goal of rekindling the relationship once known as Jelena.

Although some fans are still in mourning for Selena and The Weeknd, an insider told People magazine that Justin is delighted about the opportunity to renew his romance.

“Justin is happy Selena is single. He hopes to regain her trust so they can get back together.”

Bieber and Gomez have been seen together recently on several occasions, and the source confirmed that Justin wants to enjoy a romantic relationship again with Selena. Both have experienced challenges in the past months, and the insider contends that it “wouldn’t be surprising if they got back together.”

Bieber and Gomez formed a famous couple from 2011 to 2015. Last summer, however, when Justin was dating Sofia Richie, he and Selena infamously fought on Instagram.

But both Bieber and Gomez reportedly are willing to let go of the past and focus on renewing their relationship. Bieber was the one who reached out to her after he heard about her kidney transplant, according to the source.

“It seems their relationship now is very different. Justin is certainly a much better person.”

The insider offered a prediction on Bieber’s future with Selena, opining that Justin “would be a better boyfriend” if Gomez agrees to fulfill Justin’s dreams of rekindling their romance.

Jezebel reported that Bieber is “thrilled” about the situation, pointing out that despite skepticism from some, “it may also be true that this is Justin Bieber’s opportunity to present himself as a new man.” The two have made their relationship paparazzi-official by brunching together and going to church together.

In addition, as part of Bieber’s alleged campaign to win back Gomez, he is focused on texting her constantly, according to Marie Claire. And although Justin reportedly is doing all he can to woo Selena, one source quoted by the publication pointed out that it’s Gomez who has to make the ultimate decision.

“The ball is in Selena’s court right now….Justin always has the biggest piece of her heart.”

In addition to commenting that Gomez must decide whether Bieber is still the right man to fulfill her romantic dreams, the source revealed Bieber’s game plan.

“Justin really wants to get back with Selena,” said the insider.

Bieber has texted Gomez “nonstop,” according to the source, and Justin has been spending time with her “whenever he can.” As for Selena, the insider revealed that she “can’t deny that she still loves Justin.” Although the two allegedly have a platonic relationship currently, rumors are soaring that Jelena will return sooner rather than later.
