Meghan Markle Has A Special Skill That ‘Sealed The Deal’ In Making Her The Perfect Match For Prince Harry

According to a new documentary that aired in Great Britain on Saturday, Meghan Markle has a special set of skills that “sealed the deal” for Prince Harry. What was she able to deal with that Prince Harry’s girlfriends could not, and why else is the Suits actress a perfect match for Harry?

A documentary, When Harry Met Meghan, that aired on Saturday in Great Britain revealed what ability “sealed the deal” between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – the American actress can “handle the attention that comes with being a royal girlfriend.”

According to the report from the Daily Mail, the biggest test was Pippa Middleton’s May wedding. Esteemed British journalist Camilla Tominey, who spoke on the television program, explained how Meghan “hid away” at Pippa’s wedding despite cameras and worldwide attention and this kept the focus on Pippa and James Matthews.

In addition, Tominey explains that the Suits actress is comfortable in the sort of society that Harry mingles in, and points out that this is how she met the prince in the first place.

“Meghan has positioned herself so she is rubbing shoulders with the right kinds of people. That’s the reason she ended up being introduced to Prince Harry in the first place. She’s quite secure in that pretty upper middle class environment. She’s at home there.”

Prince Harry’s previous romances had fizzled because the scrutiny was so great, and Tominey explains that it hasn’t been an easy ride for Prince Harry or any of his girlfriends.

“It hasn’t been easy to hold down a relationship. Going out with the world’s most eligible bachelor is tough.”

Previous to the Suits actress, Prince Harry dated actress and model Cressida Bonas for two years. The couple was allegedly set up by Princess Eugenie, Harry’s first cousin, and the romance looked so strong that many predicted they would announce their engagement. Yet, the pressures of dating a royal overcame any sort of affection between the couple.

According to the Daily Mail, who spoke to the author of several books on the royals, Ingrid Seward explained what happened. She alleges that the two-year relationship, which fell apart in 2014, was all due to the pressures of constant scrutiny on Harry’s girlfriend.

Seward claims that Cressie could not leave her house without people stopping to take photos of her.

‘They would whip out their phones and take photos of her. They’d say ‘oh look at her hair,’ ‘oh look at her clothes, look at her boots, she hasn’t got her laces done up.’ I mean this is just a normal, pretty girl and she just couldn’t take it. She just thought ‘why are they getting at me?'”

Although trained as an actress, as well as trained in all things proper as she is the daughter of well-connected British socialites and a peer, Bonas could not deal with the constant barrage of negative comments and photos.

This was also true of Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s other serious girlfriend. The couple dated on and off for seven years starting in 2004. More importantly, Chelsea was Harry’s plus one at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. Many believed that the then attorney, now jewelry designer was going to tie the knot with Harry.

Yet, it was not the prince that was the problem, it was his station and all of the trappings surrounding it that Davy could not live with. The Daily Mail reported that Chelsea saw “‘what Kate has gone through and how much she has had to sacrifice, and says it’s not for her.”

Her friends repeated what she told them when asked if she would marry Harry, who appeared ready to take the plunge like his brother William.

“There’s no way we are getting married. It’s not a life for me.”

Yet, Meghan Markle has held her head up despite some nastiness aimed at her on social media and has dealt with the pressures of dating a royal very smoothly. She also made sure Pippa could have her day. Could an engagement soon be announced? Rumor has it that the couple will formally announce their engagement after Suits has finished filming, which is in November.
