General Hospital spoilers tease that the dynamics are about to shift in Port Charles. Now that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is convinced that Patient 6 is the real Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he feels betrayed that Jake Doe (Billy Miller) has been masquerading as his bestie for the past couple of years. Sonny is furious and assumes the worst. GH rumors hint that Sonny believes fake Jason infiltrated their lives and stole Jason’s existence. In fact, it seems that poor Jake Doe is a lost soul but Sonny’s ready to take him down despite their friendship bond. How will this explosive twist shape the future?
Sonny’s convinced that Burton is Jason – but who is Miller?
GH spoilers from the recent “Imposter” promo make it seem like there’s a deliberate scam perpetrated by fake Jason to steal the real Jason’s life, family, and assets. But remember, Jake Doe wasn’t the one who said he was Jason Morgan. That was all the doing of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) supported by tech from Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Remember, Jake Doe didn’t believe he was Jason and argued with Carly until she pushed evidence on him to convince him that he was Jason Morgan. GH Spy says next week, Carly will be shocked to see two Jasons.
Burton’s confirmation as Jason Morgan will enrage fans
Judging by fan reaction (and threats) on social media, there’s a legion of General Hospital watchers that are ready to riot if and when it’s proven that Billy Miller’s character is Drew Quartermaine and not Jason Morgan. But the ABC soap has already told fans several times that Burton is Jason. That means Miller must be Drew, but that’s not a bad thing. Consider this. Drew is not a stone cold killer. He’s a sweet, loving guy just like Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) described him. That’s much more like Miller.
Will General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny and Jason-1 (Burton) team up and alienate the fan base enough to cause a ratings drop? Maybe not. Consider this. Even when Miller’s character is proven to be Drew, it will also be shown that he wasn’t trying to trick anyone. He’s a victim of circumstance and (rumored) WSB-Cassadine science. He’s just a nice guy whose brain was messed with to try and turn him into an assassin and Jason Morgan doppelganger. But Drew doesn’t have to lose everything.
Drew can keep Sam and the Qs – Jason can keep Sonny and Carly
GH spoilers tease that the party that kicks off the big November sweeps fest will have Jason and Drew in the same room, face to face for the first time, according to spoilers from She Knows Soaps. Both will be shocked, and this is a pivotal moment. But before Sonny and Jason can confront Drew about stealing Jason’s life, recently revealed bad guy Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) would send in the goons to disrupt the party and try to recover Patient 6. Andre’s not counting on Drew Q stepping up to save his twin brother. With two Jasons, it’s no contest.
Sonny and Jason’s plan to call out fake Jake and expose him publicly turns into a matter of life and death, so the family drama must wait. When the dust settles, introductions must be made and lives sorted out. This doesn’t have to be a total loss for Drew. The fact is, Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) loves him, and they have a baby together. Sam doesn’t want the life that Jason-1 wants, and it’s clear now that Stone Cold is back, he’s loyal to Sonny. Jason and Drew can split their shared life right down the middle.
General Hospital spoilers – Drew and Jason are different men
It shouldn’t be too hard to officially sort out which one is Jason and which one is Drew. Jason has a lengthy arrest record that includes his fingerprints. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) ran Jake Doe’s prints in 2014 but, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) messed with the electronic files. The key will be the paper arrest records stored in the file room at the PCPD that have Jason Morgan’s fingerprints. They can’t trust the national database! Comparing those records to both men’s prints will clear up who is Drew and who is Jason.
General Hospital spoilers reveal when the truth is out that Burton is Jason and Miller is Drew, there’s still more story to tell. The brothers must find out who messed with their lives. Lots of players will be involved in this drama, including their cousin Franco (Roger Howarth) who can shed light on their origin story tied to their mom Susan Moore. The good news is that Sonny winds up with his enforcer back, but Sam and her new husband can stay clear of mob violence. Come back soon for more General Hospital spoilers and news.
