Is Yolanda Hadid Returning To The ‘Real Housewives’?

Yolanda Hadid quit her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2016 but could she be on the verge of returning to the hit franchise?

Although the mother of three recently left Los Angeles and headed east to New York City, where her children, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar are modeling, a new report has revealed that Real Housewives of New York City star Dorinda Medley would love to see Hadid join the cast of the Big Apple-based show.

“I think she’d be great on the show,” Medley told Life & Style magazine, adding that she’d love to introduce Hadid’s daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, to her own daughter, Hannah Lynch.

According to Dorinda Medley, Yolanda Hadid would be a “perfect fit” for The Real Housewives of New York City because the series is based in a great place for women to start fresh. As fans of Hadid may have heard, her divorce from former husband David Foster was finalized earlier this week.

“New York women are strong, independent go-getters. We live hard, we love hard, we play hard,” Medley explained.

Yolanda Hadid joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2012 for the series’ third season and continued to star on the show in a full-time role until the end of Season 6.

When Yolanda Hadid first joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was newly married to David Foster and raising her three young children. Now, five years later, Hadid’s kids have made a name for themselves in the world of modeling and continue to be seen on catwalks and in magazines around the world.

While Yolanda Hadid has not yet joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City, she has maintained a relationship with Andy Cohen, creator of the hit franchise, and surely has a ton of fans who would love to see her return to television.

Following her reality television run, Yolanda Hadid wrote a memoir about her life and her ongoing struggles with Lyme disease. The book, Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisibility of Lyme Disease, was released in stores last month.

The Real Housewives of New York City is set to begin filming later this year, and the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will begin airing before the year’s end.
