WWE Bringing Back The Shield Entrance Through The Crowd

The Shield is back together again, and the WWE Universe is excited about it. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns are working as a unit quite perfectly after just one week, but they are still missing something. However, the WWE is slowly bringing back everything the fans love about The Shield, including their trademark entrance.

As recapped by WWE.com, Reigns brought The Shield together last week after months of speculations. The Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus teamed up to beat up Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose on separate occasions, and it was enough for the former brothers to reunite. The Shield ended up beating their new-found rivals, culminating in a Triple Powerbomb on The Miz followed by their trademark fist bump.

However, The Shield did not stop there as they attacked Braun Strowman later that night after his victory over Matt Hardy. Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose used the numbers game to overpower “The Monster Among Men” and put him through the announce table using the Triple Powerbomb. Monday Night Raw general manager Kurt Angle made the decision to put The Shield in their first match together at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs against Strowman, The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro in a 4-on-3 TLC Handicap Match.

According to Cageside Seats, the WWE is going to bring back The Shield and their trademark entrance at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose will make their way to the ring through the crowd in their first match together on October 22 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It should be noted that The Shield had their first match at TLC in 2012 against Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Ryback.

The Shield was a unique entity in the WWE during their initial run from 2012 to 2014. They were known for their trademark entrance, Kevlar vests, and pack mentality. The Shield attacked a lot of big names that include The Rock, The Undertaker, and Mr. McMahon. They were at the top of their game in 2014 when Seth Rollins betrayed his brothers to side with The Authority.

Sportskeeda also pointed out that the WWE might also give The Shield a new entrance theme. For those who do not know, Roman Reigns’ current theme is a modified version of The Shield’s old theme. The CFO hinted that they are doing something new for The Shield but some members of the WWE Universe are not happy with it.

Nevertheless, the WWE can still change their plans at the last minute because that’s how they just do their business. The Shield is expected to be together until at least Survivor Series next month or until the hype and nostalgia wear off.
