Huge Update On When And Where The Shield Reunion Will Happen

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose are poised to be together once again and fulfill The Shield reunion fans have been dreaming of. The WWE has been teasing the reunion since Rollins and Ambrose became the Raw Tag Team champions. The latest update on the rumored reunion has revealed when and where The Shield is going to be back as a team again.

According to Cageside Seats, The Shield is expected to reunite as a team next week on Monday Night Raw in Indianapolis, Indiana. The date and location is not an accident because The Shield debuted and disbanded in Indianapolis in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

The Shield made their official WWE debut on November 18, 2012 at Survivor Series. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose shocked the world when they attacked Ryback during the main event Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship. The Shield powerbombed Ryback through the announce table, allowing CM Punk to pin John Cena to retain his title.

On the other hand, The Shield disbanded on the June 2, 2014 episode of Monday Night Raw. The trio was in the midst of their feud with Evolution and Triple H threatened them with his Plan B that turned out to be Seth Rollins. “The Architect” attacked Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose with a steel chair and aligned himself with The Authority.

The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus are the likely opponents for The Shield at 'TLC.'

As recapped by WWE.com, Roman Reigns challenged The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw. Reigns was on the verge of winning when Cesaro and Sheamus interfered, causing a disqualification. Many fans were expecting Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to come out but they were still selling the beating they took from Braun Strowman, Cesaro, and Sheamus.

But later that night in the locker room, Reigns was approached by Rollins and Ambrose. The former members of The Shield nodded at each other before walking away. It was the latest, and possibly the last, hint the WWE will make regarding their reunion because it is going to finally and officially happen on October 9.

And for those fans who are still skeptical about a reunion by The Shield, the leaked poster for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs reveals the obvious, per Wrestle Zone. It shows Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose being called The Shield.

The Shield is rumored to be reuniting on 'TLC.'

However, it should be noted that The Shield reunion is still speculative at the moment but all the signs point to it happening. Fans should tune in to next week’s Monday Night Raw to find out if Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose will form The Shield once again.
