Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller will be self-reporting to a federal correctional facility in Victorville, California, on Wednesday around 2 p.m. However, reports have indicated that the facility might be rife with issues, and that might be partially why she made her last-ditch effort to be granted an 11th-hour reprieve on her Instagram account.
According to documents obtained by Radar Online, a male inmate has previously accused two correctional officers of sexual assault and harassment.
The documents stated that during a routine pat down after a fight broke out in the dining hall, a correctional officer squeezed his genitals. The case is currently on going, and he is asking for a total of $500 million in damages.
In 2016, another inmate had his cell searched as the correctional officers looked for a razor, which is contraband. They moved him to another cell and began spouting racial slurs at him. At first, he refused to be handcuffed because he worried that he would be assaulted. In response, the correctional officers sprayed him in the face with chemical spray and handcuffed him before beating him to the point that he repeatedly blacked out.
He is seeking $150,000 in damages.
Another female inmate filed a lawsuit in 2012 for being “forced to perform sexual acts” in 2007.
Abby Lee Miller will be reporting to the Victorville facility tomorrow in order to self-surrender for her bankruptcy fraud charges and for smuggling money from Australia into the United States. She purports that she is innocent of the last charge and has used to her social media to try and get verification that she never handled the money.
The disgraced Dance Moms star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles last night as she had dinner with some of her friends. They wined and dined together before she came outside to joke with the paparazzi.
While she has previously stated that she was terrified of going to prison in several interviews, the reality TV star is now putting on a brave face.
She told paparazzi last night that she was looking forward to prison because it included “free rent.”
It has previously been reported that Lifetime cameras will be on hand to film her self-surrender.
