You Can Own This ‘Gangnam Style’ Pendant For Almost $60,000
“Gangnam Style” is the newest dance craze to have hit American shores. The catchy Korean pop song released this past July by South Korean rapper and hip-hop artist PSY quickly became a huge hit due to its highly addictive beat and unusual dance choreography.
Now, according to Brilliance.com, one celebrity has caught an extremely bad case of “Gangnam Style” fever. So bad, in fact, that he commissioned Brilliance to create a custom pendant in honor of the “Gangnam Style” craze.
The diamond pendant is in the shape of a man doing the signature “Gangnam Style” horse dance.
This pendant contains over 600 diamonds for a total of 6 1/4 carat total weight. The diamonds are set in 18k white and yellow gold.
The pendant also features an Ideal cut 3/4 ct Oval diamond as the belt-buckle and has two perfectly matched black diamonds that serve as the pendants sunglasses.
The “Gangnam Style” diamond pendant is now available for purchase through this website for the asking price of almost $60,000.
For those of you who are curious about what “Gangnam Style” is, the title of the song refers to the affluent Gangnam district in Seoul, South Korea.
PSY has performed the popular “Gangnam Style” song in many different venues. He performed the song at this year’s MTV Movie Awards pre-show and even appeared on the Ellen show to teach the choreography to host Ellen DeGeneres and fellow guest Britney Spears.
