Hilary Duff Weight Loss: Actress Shows Off Her Skinny Jeans On Twitter

Hilary Duff has some weight loss to show off, and she took to Twitter to brag about the pounds she’s dropped after giving birth to her first child in March.

The actress and singer tweeted a picture of her size 26 jeans, saying: “Yaaaa b****es! Gabe Johns you’re kickin my ass and its paying off! Skinny jeans! lets go!”

Gabe Johns is a Los Angeles-based trainer who has been helping Hilary Duff with her weight loss. The personal trainer and boxing instructor has been helping Duff drop her baby weight with a detailed workout regimen, Us Weekly reported.

“Hilary and Gabe have been doing everything from boxing to two-a-day workouts incorporating wind sprints and jump roping in an effort to finally shed the baby weight. Hilary’s been steadily dropping pounds each week,” a rep told the magazine.

Unlike stars who drop their baby weight quickly after giving birth, Hilary Duff’s weight loss has come on a more gradual schedule, The Huffington Post noted.

“There are some women who look the same right after — I think they are freaks of nature! I don’t know how that happens,” she told Parents magazine in October. “I’m not one of those people. It takes your body nine months to get there — really 10 months. So I’m trying to be patient but I’m working hard. And I think now more than ever, I appreciate my body and what it’s done for me.”

Not everyone agreed with the approach. Hilary Duff said back in April, just three weeks after she gave birth, that she was already taking heat for not losing weight quickly enough.

Duff said:

“Then I read comments on my Twitter page about how I’m waddling into Pilates and I go, ‘Wow, that’s a really mean thing to say. I just had a baby three weeks ago!’. There is a little bit of pressure, but most of it comes from me.”

Now, Hilary Duff has flaunted her weight loss, showing up with baby Luca the same day she tweeted the photo of her jeans.
