Week 5 NFL Power Rankings
As we head to week five we have a better understanding of who is good, who is bad, and who are still in between
1. Indianapolis Colts- They have Peyton, and Peyton is great
2. New York Giants- Their Steve Smith is a number one receiver, minus the diva
3. New Orleans Saints- They now have a legit defense, and are legit contenders
4. Minnesota Vikings- On Monday they looked like a Super Bowl team
5. Baltimore Ravens- Forget about the Patriots loss, and go when the AFC North
6. New York Jets- Great team, and they add Braylon Edwards
7. New England Patriots- Ton Brady and Wes Welker are a great duo
8. Philadelphia Eagles- Coming of the bye week and Donovan is back
9. Denver Broncos- A surprise 4-0, a true test next with the Patriots
10. Pittsburgh Steelers- Mendenhall is the runner this offense needs
11. Atlanta Falcons- They face a difficult road schedule, making a playoff birth that much harder
12. San Francisco 49ers- Under Singletary this team has become a force
13. Cincinnati Bengals- They have a knack for winning close games
14. Green Bay Packers- Their Defense doesn’t get enough sacks, Aaron Rodgers gets sacked to often
15. Chicago Bears- The team is starting to come together
16. San Diego Chargers- They have all star talent, and second rate coaching
17. Dallas Cowboys- they need to beat a quality opponent
18. Arizona Cardinals- That Super Bowl hangover is for real
19. Houston Texans- The next three games will tell us much about this team
20. Jacksonville Jaguars- They are 2-2 and have four easy games upcoming
21. Miami Dolphins- Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams hold the keys to this team’s salvation
22. Buffalo Bills- Trent Edwards cannot make use of an excellent wide out corps
23. Seattle Seahawks- Inconsistent running game has set them back
24. Tennessee Titans- Does Vince Young get another chance to start?
25. Carolina Panthers- DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart need to gets lots of carries, lots
26. Detroit Lions- They are better, but much work remains
27. Washington Redskins- Both wins are ugly, but they were wins
28. Oakland Raiders- Jamarcus Russell is clearly not the answer
29. Cleveland Browns- Can they beat Buffalo, or is this a team headed toward disaster
30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Which Josh is the future of this team?
31. Kansas City Chiefs- Matt Cassel has not worked out
32. St. Louis Rams- they have been shut out twice, with one of the best RB in the game
