Selena Gomez has signed a major deal just weeks after returning to the spotlight following a months-long break in which she reportedly sought treatment for anxiety, depression and panic attacks.

After making her triumphant return to the spotlight with an emotional appearance at the 2016 American Music Awards, Selena Gomez has signed a $10 million deal with Coach.

“Selena Gomez has signed a huge $10 million deal with Coach to design her own line and become the face of the luxury accessory brand,” Page Six announced to readers on December 11.

According to the report, Selena Gomez will be designing her own line for the brand — and starring in their ad campaigns.

While Selena Gomez is fresh of a career hiatus, which started in August when she announced the cancellation of her “Revival World Tour,” she has continued to be one of the most popular people on social media and currently has a whopping 104 million followers on Instagram (more than any other person on the social media platform).

Selena Gomez announced she would be taking some time off in a statement to People Magazine on August 30.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” the singer and actress explained to the magazine. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

Selena Gomez’s statement came just weeks after she and her former boyfriend, Justin Bieber, got into a fight on Instagram due to a photo he shared of himself and his then-girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”

Selena Gomez kicked off her “Revival World Tour” earlier this year and was expected to continue on with her shows until the end of December when she would wrap up the tour with a series of shows in Mexico.

Following Selena Gomez’s statement to People Magazine, Us Weekly claimed the 24-year-old had checked into a rehab facility outside of Nashville, Tennessee, to “focus on her mental health.” According to the magazine, the facility allegedly chosen by Selena Gomez was described as quiet but super intense.

During her stint at the facility, Selena Gomez reportedly spent time with several members of her family, including her mother and stepfather.

Selena Gomez’s recent deal with Coach increases her net worth substantially. Currently, she is said to be worth an estimated $45 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, but after the deal, she has not only garnered herself an addition $10 million, but also marketed herself as a designer for potential partnerships in the future.

Selena Gomez has been living her life in the spotlight for many years. After starring as a child actress in several series, including Barney and Friends and Wizards of Wavery Place, Selena Gomez went on to star in movies, including Spring Breakers, The Big Short, The Fundamentals of Caring, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Hotel Transylvania, Hotel Transylvania 2 and Hotel Transylvania 3. She also served as the executive producer of 13 Reasons Why, which aired on Netflix.

No word yet on when Selena Gomez’s new line and campaign ads for Coach will be released.
