‘Destiny’: Xur’s Exotic Goods For Nov. 25, Xur Does Not Believe In Black Friday

Black Friday is one of the busiest shopping days of the year, except in Destiny. The mysterious Xûr does not believe in the shopping holiday and refuses to run any specials on his Exotic goods. This week he does come with the Patience and Time Sniper Rifle, however, plus a nice roll on a set of Voidfang Vestments for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players.

Destiny players looking for Xûr should turn right and head toward the hangar after spawning at the Tower. Once you’ve gone through the long hallway and entered the hangar, turn right, and you will see the seller of Exotics. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map, just to be sure.

Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through Sunday morning. He will be gone as soon as the clock strikes 4 a.m. ET/1 a.m. PT.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.

Patience and Time

Patience and Time is one of the more unique sniper rifles in Destiny, thanks to its stability and perks. Its reload speed is slow, but the magazine does holds six rounds. It also throws in the “Third Eye” perk that keeps the in-game radar up while aiming down the sights. The Patience and Time namesake perk also turns on active camouflage when aiming; useful in PVP and tough spots in PVE. The weapon’s Arc damage is always good for an Arc burn week in the Weekly Nightfall Strikes and Prison of Elders.

Immolation Fists

These Titan Sunbreaker specific gauntlets grant the “Explosive Pyre” perk from the sub-class’ skill tree for free so that enemies explode when killed by the Hammer of Sol. This frees players up to use the “Flameseeker” or “Fleetfire” perks instead. The former turns on tracking for the Hammer of Sol while the latter gives an agility boost for any kills with the Sunbreaker’s fire.

The random perks with the Immolation Fists offered by Xûr include the choice between “Rain Blows” and “Momentum Transfer” along with “Hand Cannon Loader” and “Machine Gun Loader.”

The 81 Strength pure roll is not very good at all for the Immolation Fists as it is 13 points off the maximum. Destiny Titans will want to skip or try their luck with re-rolling via Glass Needles.

Crest of Alpha Lupi

Hunters that are team players will want the Crest of Alpha Lupi. The “Keeper of the Pack” perk makes reviving fallen teammates and being revived faster, which is perfect for Trials of Osiris and Elimination. It also causes Supers to generate an extra Orb, which is useful for the Orb-starved Gunslinger and Bladedancer sub-classes.

The Crest of Alpha Lupi piece being sold in Destiny this weekend offers the choice between carrying extra Scout Rifle or Sidearm ammo and reducing Void Burn damage or increased armor when using a Void-based subclass.

The 138 Intellect pure stat roll is excellent since it is right at the maximum for this piece. Destiny players should only use Glass Needles if they want a different ammo or armor class perk.

Voidfang Vestments

Voidfang Vestments is an Exotic Warlock chest piece that comes with a Voidwalker sub-class focused perk. The “Hungering Void” perk will spawn an additional seeker for Axion Bolt grenades and allows your Warlock to respawn with full grenade energy. The chest piece also comes with optional perks for either bonus Hand Cannon or Shotgun ammo. The final column includes increased Void Burn Defense or Void Armor.

These Voidfang Vestments provide an excellent roll this week. The 86 Intellect / 82 Strength split stat roll is near max while the Shotgun ammo perk is perfect for the current Crucible meta.
