Catherine Zeta-Jones, 47, Has An Impromptu Bikini Photo Shoot
Catherine Zeta-Jones gets back at the paparazzi the best way she knows how – by having an impromptu photo shoot. The stunning actress was seen rocking a bikini on her Mexican beach vacation. That didn’t stop the paparazzi from gleefully snapping away photos of Catherine, so she decided to turn the tables on them.
The 47-year-old was photographed in her bikini without her consent, and she wasn’t happy with the photos. Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband, Michael Douglas, decided to take some incredible photos of the actress and share them on social media, according to People. The two have been enjoying a holiday vacation together, but they were soon met with the paparazzi.
Catherine remarked that she was “p***ed” that the paparazzi snapped photos of her “a**,” so she decided to share her own photos of her behind, which were taken by Douglas. She said that the photos are “always a better option for viewing.” When her 72-year-old husband wasn’t taking photos of his wife, the actor decided to take some shirtless selfies on the beach to beat the paparazzi to the punch.

This comes after the Daily Mail published unflattering photos of Zeta-Jones and Douglas soaking up the sun. The brunette beauty was seen rocking a black one-piece swimsuit that featured a plunging neckline. Her signature dark hair was pulled up in a bun, and she kept her eyes covered with a pair of dark sunglasses. Meanwhile, Douglas walked around shirtless in a pair of navy blue trunks. Douglas has been cancer-free for five years, while Zeta-Jonas battled bipolar disorder.

Missing from the photos were Zeta-Jones and Douglas’ children Dylan, 16, and daughter Carys, 13, according to People. Zeta-Jones and Douglas’ 16-year marriage has been going strong after the pair briefly split in 2013. The two celebrated their 16-year wedding anniversary earlier this year. Back in March, Douglas and Zeta-Jones toasted their milestone anniversary by returning to Aspen, Colorado, where Douglas proposed.
In February, Douglas spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his fondest memory that involves Zeta-Jones.
“It would probably be the Deauville Film Festival in 1999 when I met Catherine,” he said at the AARP’s Movie for GrownUps Awards. “That was the best memory I got.”
The actor started dating the Welsh actress in the late ’90s, with the couple marrying in 2000, according to Xpose.ie. Despite their 25-year age difference, he believes that their relationship works because of their shared sense of humor. Douglas and Zeta-Jones have also approached their wide age gap with lots of laughter, as well.
“We joke all the time about when I reach my 80s and she’s wheeling my around and I’m saying, ‘Whoa, where are we going?’ And she will say ‘Cartier darling, Cartier. It’s your favorite store,” he said in a recent interview with U.K. host Jonathan Ross. “Remember, to keep a sense of humor about these things.”
When asked if the age difference has made their relationship difficult, Douglas said he would use the word difficult to describe it. He then added that Zeta-Jones would look him in the eyes whenever he forgot a name or a date and he’ll answer, “Yes, dear, I know.”
Since Douglas was diagnosed with stage four throat cancer in 2010, his taste buds have changed due to the effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He said that he can’t enjoy the foods and drinks he once enjoyed.
“Red wine does not taste as good (as it used to). It’s a small problem,” he added. “Spicy food does not bother me as much as it used to. I have certain things I stay away from. I can do beer.”
