Angelina Jolie Feels Desperately Betrayed By Ex-Husband’s Comments About Brad Pitt [Debunked]

Angelina Jolie does not feel desperately betrayed by Billy Bob Thornton’s comments about wanting to work with Brad Pitt. Gossip Cop has summarized an interview that takes place in Playboy.

“In a recent interview with Playboy, Thornton made an unexpected revelation about his ex-wife’s newly estranged husband, saying, ‘This might surprise people, but I’d love to do a movie with Brad Pitt… I think we’d be great together.'”

Soon after this interview appeared, the webloid Celebrity Dirty Laundry then suggested Angelina Jolie felt betrayed by the interview. However, Gossip Cop has debunked the rumor.

“Angelina Jolie does NOT feel ‘betrayed’ by Billy Bob Thornton for saying he wants to work with Brad Pitt, despite an inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s not true,” claims columnist Andrew Shuster, who adds that the webloid also falsely proclaimed that Pitt would turn down any opportunity to work with Thornton until the divorce and custody issues are finalized.

This isn’t the first major rumor Angelina Jolie had to deal with this week. Once again, Celebrity Dirty Laundry was the culprit. They claimed French actress Marion Cotillard tried to shade Angelina Jolie by talking about the Brad Pitt sex scenes in their new movie.

“Marion Cotillard is shading Angelina Jolie. Apparently, the French actress and Brad Pitt’s sex scenes for their film ‘Allied’ were so well-rehearsed, that they almost felt natural. If Angelina doesn’t feel the burn from that, well, then she’s probably not human.”

The article added that Marion claims she didn’t experience “robotic” sex scenes that usually happen between and actor and actress in front of the camera. She said she experienced something “quite different.” Celebrity Dirty Laundry somehow assumes that this statement is “shade” towards Angelina Jolie, and Gossip Cop isn’t believing any of it.

“Marion Cotillard was NOT ‘shading’ Angelina Jolie when she discussed her sex scenes with Brad Pitt in their new movie, despite a ridiculous webloid report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim,” columnist Andrew Shuster, who continues to bust Angelina Jolie rumors, writes, and adds that Celebrity Dirty Laundry didn’t have a single source to back up their assumptions.

There is one main story about Angelina Jolie that isn’t a rumor. According to Fox News, the actress has made her first public appearance after splitting with Brad Pitt.

“Angelina Jolie has made her first public appearance since she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September. In a recorded video message for the International Criminal Court, the 41-year-old actress spoke out this week in support of a recent policy regarding children.”

“Successful prosecution and new legal benchmark, whether at the ICC or elsewhere, is a part of the long and vital generational effort. That is the light in which I believe the court’s new policy on children should be seen,” Jolie is quoted as saying.

Unfortunately, commenters at many websites who reported the story see this as another “publicity stunt” in order to fix her image. The commenters on a similar article at TMZ were quite cruel.

“Tireless ambassador?? More like just a tireless harassador…..or a tireless pain in the…..rhymes with gas,” claims Cake By The Ocean.

“Why is she given so much attention? All she does is go to other countries, sit down looking sad and skinny, and then she leaves,” says Gina Romantica.

Perhaps we will start seeing Angelina Jolie a lot more in the press. For many, seeing more of Angelina is always a good thing.
