Blake Shelton Is Not Ready To ‘Pull The Plug’ On His Relationship With Gwen Stefani [Debunked]

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are not on the verge of a split, nor is the country singer embarrassed by his girlfriend of just over one year.

According to a report by Celeb Dirty Laundry, Blake Shelton is reportedly considering a breakup with Gwen Stefani, despite the ongoing reports regarding the couple’s allegedly upcoming wedding.

“The country music star is tired of constantly being embarrassed by Gwen Stefani and how she is continuously talking about their ‘perfect’ relationship in interviews,” the outlet told readers of Blake Shelton, according to a report by Gossip Cop on November 17.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani went public with their relationship on November 4 of last year ahead of the Country Music Awards and have spoken openly of their time together ever since. In fact, the couple has released songs about one another and also wrote a track together, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” which they debuted on The Voice Season 10 earlier this year.

Both “fans and critics alike” feel Blake Shelton wants his girlfriend to stop “gushing about their showmance,” the outlet continued, adding that Stefani’s allegedly “needy” behavior has led him to feel that he has no other option than to “pull away from her.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been seen a lot in recent weeks and in addition to walking the red carpet together at an event earlier this month, the couple stepped out with Stefani’s youngest son, Apollo, 2, days ago in Los Angeles, where the trio looked to be one happy family.

Stefani is also mom to 10-year-old Kingston and 8-year-old Zuma from her past marriage to Gavin Rosedale. And while the boys weren’t seen with their younger brother days ago, they have been known to spend tons of time with Blake Shelton. Still, the Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported alleged that the couple isn’t truly happy with one another and said that Blake Shelton reportedly wasn’t ready to propose.

“Gwen is so desperate to get married and settle down with [Blake Shelton] that it almost feels as though the country singer is trapped,” the outlet claimed, and Blake Shelton allegedly feels he’s being “pressured more and more every day to propose to her.”

Meanwhile, Celebrity Dirty Laundry claimed, Gwen Stefani is so “blindsided by her fairy-tale and teenage love for [Blake Shelton]” that she doesn’t realize he isn’t “invested in their relationship like he was before… It’s only a matter of time before [Shelton] announces his break up.”

While Blake Shelton may not be ready to propose after just over a year of dating, a source close to Stefani assured Gossip Cop that the article shared by Celebrity Dirty Laundry is “not true.” Gossip Cop also noted that Stefani was desperate to get married as the report had suggested.

In other Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani news, the couple will soon reunite on the set of The Voice, where they first fell in love. Although Stefani was not seen on the 10th and 11th seasons of the NBC show, the network has confirmed that she will rejoin Blake Shelton, as well as co-stars Alicia Keys and Adam Levine, for the series’ upcoming 12th season, which premieres on Monday, February 27.

In a statement shared by Entertainment Tonight last month, Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Reality Group for NBC Entertainment, said, “We can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake and Adam will bring to season 12.”
