Jana Duggar Isn’t Courting Yet: Why Is She Still Single?

Last night, the Duggars made a huge announcement that Joy-Anna Duggar is now courting. Jana is older than her, but still, isn’t courting and the fans wonder why this is the case. Yahoo News shared that there are a few reasons that Jana hasn’t revealed she is courting and they aren’t bad ones either. Jana wants the right man and doesn’t just want to court the first guy that comes along. Right now, Jana is 26-years-old and still living at home.

The thing is Jana has admitted before she is a bit picky about who she would date and also wants it to be the right guy. Jana said she doesn’t want to marry the “first one that comes along.” There have been rumors that Jana was dating a few different guys, but none of them have been confirmed. At one time, it was shared that Jana was dating football player Tim Tebow, but these two were never spotted together, and neither one ever admitted that they had even met. There were also rumors that Zach Bates wanted to court her and they even went on a few secret dates, with a chaperone, of course.

Jana Duggar straight up admitted on the show that she has been asked to court, but didn’t want to do it. Here is what Jana had to say about it all.

“I don’t know what the next five years will look like. In some ways you’ve got hopes and dreams. Maybe I’ll meet the one and get married and have kids and stuff. There have been different guys come along and ask, but they haven’t been the right one. It’s just one of those things. I’m not just out to get married to the first one who comes along.”

Right now, Jana Duggar is busy living at home and helping her mom out. She could actually be courting or in the early stages, but Jana isn’t sharing yet. She will probably wait until she knows that it is serious before telling her fans about it. Jana is the oldest Duggar girl living at home, but a lot of the older boys haven’t started courting yet either.

The Hollywood Gossip shared that there are rumors that Jana Duggar’s parents are actually pushing her into a courtship. The Duggars are adherents of the “Quiverfull” movement. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if the Duggars are hoping that Jana will start having her own children soon.

If you notice on the show Counting On, they are starting to show off Jana Duggar a bit more lately. They are letting everyone see how great she is at decorating and the Duggars have even been sharing posts on their Facebook page that show off Jana’s skills. This might be a great way to help a guy become a bit more interested in her and start asking questions.

Jana Duggar will start courting when she is ready. It doesn’t seem like she is going to be someone who lets anyone tell her what to do or how to do it. Viewers have seen Jana butt heads with her sister Jessa when they had a difference of opinion. If Jana Duggar starts courting, hopefully, she will share the news with her fans right away. The next season of Counting On is going to focus on Joy-Anna’s courtship, Jinger’s wedding preparations, and Jessa Duggar Seewald getting ready for another baby. That won’t leave a lot of time to air another courtship, so they might wait to announce it if something does happen.
