Brad Pitt To Have Unsupervised Visit With His And Angelina Jolie’s Children Soon After Being Cleared Of Child Abuse?

It’s been a while since the last time Brad Pitt got to see his children without a monitor watching over everything. But now that the Allied star has been cleared of child abuse allegations, it now seems fair to ask if he is now legally allowed to see his kids again without supervision.

The actor can now rest easy, as a family attorney recently told Hollywood Life that Brad Pitt can finally visit his children with Angelina Jolie soon. Of course, as is the case with many legal matters involving children, there are some nuances that Pitt needs to consider before finally taking the plunge. But as it stands and as explained by the lawyer, Pitt shouldn’t encounter any problems, at least legally, in visiting his kids with Jolie — given that he hasn’t signed a stipulation with Angelina requiring that his visits be supervised.

“Now that Brad Pitt has been cleared of child abuse, he legally should be able to see the kids without a monitor. However, if he signed a stipulation with Angelina that requires him to have supervised visits, then so long as that stipulation is in place he will have to have a monitor. I would think that his lawyers protected him, so that once the DCFS case is closed he doesn’t need a monitor.”

“Even though the FBI investigation is still ongoing, it should not impact Brad’s ability to have unmonitored visits with his children. The DCFS’ job is to protect the children and the FBI is looking for federal level violations and those don’t generally involve intra-family parenting issues, unless there was a parental kidnapping, which is not present in this case. Now that the DCFS has cleared Brad of child abuse, it wouldn’t surprise me if the FBI makes a public announcement very soon that the investigation is closed,” the family attorney added.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Brad Pitt has undergone intense questioning from the FBI after Angelina Jolie filed child abuse allegations against him. The FBI asked Brad about an incident that happened last September, in which he allegedly got drunk while on a private plane with Jolie and their children, which reportedly led to a physical altercation with son Maddox, 15. The FBI agents who questioned Pitt reportedly wanted a breakdown of everything that transpired from when the plane took off and when it landed.

Also, Pitt should be able to breathe a sigh of relief following FBI claims that there’s no official investigation going on.

“The FBI is continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued,” an agent told Hollywood Life.

They also said that the agency has no jurisdiction over whether or not Brad Pitt can have supervised visits with his kids simply on account of the fact that DCFS is a separate entity from the FBI.

And this is where the Brangelina split becomes even more interesting. A source told The Sun newspaper that Brad Pitt has “dynamite” audio recordings of Jolie that he can use to prevent the Tomb Raider star from getting primary custody of their six children.

“We believe audio tapes exist of Angelina that would be absolutely dynamite against her if they were to be made public. Nobody wants to play dirty like that – it’s not good for the children – but Angelina and her team seem absolutely hell-bent on trying to discredit Brad in order to stop him getting joint custody,” an insider told The Sun.

Amid the mess involving his split with Jolie and his battle for joint custody of the children, Pitt was all smiles when he made a public appearance in China to promote his new film Allied. The actor seemed to be in good spirits during the event, signing autographs and posing for selfies with his fans.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split back in September after two years of marriage. They share six children — Maddox 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
