Chris Brown Teases New Arrivals From His Black Pyramid Clothing Line On Instagram [PHOTOS]

Chris Brown unveiled the latest round of new arrivals from his Black Pyramid clothing line via Instagram on Tuesday, taking to the social media site to show off the various tees, hoodies, and bomber jackets to have recently joined the ever-expanding collection of garments from the contemporary streetwear label.

Brown, who frequently dons pieces from his Black Pyramid clothing label on social media, took to Instagram on November 8 to share a screengrab of a handful of the new designs that recently appeared on Black Pyramid’s official website, including a “rat pack” hoodie available in black and grey, a “moon walk” hockey jersey available in white, and a “3M moon walk bomber” jacket also available in white.

In addition, Chris Brown recently teased another round of new arrivals from his Black Pyramid clothing line via Twitter earlier this week, taking to the site on November 6 to show off a patched letterman jacket complete with Brown’s birth year, 1989, stitched in red on the sleeves and the label’s signature pyramid logo emblazoned on the back.

Speaking of the inspiration behind his eclectic clothing line during an interview with Inked Magazine earlier this year, Chris Brown revealed to the publication that being able to offer stylish, contemporary garments at an affordable price point for fans remains his central goal when creating designs for the streetwear line.

“I was always one of those kids that equated fashion with the first day of school or Christmas or the last day of school,” Brown explained when asked about the concept behind his Black Pyramid clothing line. “Looking at the Eastbay [catalog], I always wanted to be one of those kids that liked ’90s urban hip-hop culture. Admittedly, I’ve always been a fan of that. I think, with my clothing line, I tried to grasp that kind of concept, but also give my fans and my core audience a chance to see what type of clothes I like, the type of stuff that I’m into and clothing that’s actually affordable.”

In regard to Black Pyramid’s price point, Chris Brown further reveals that the collection’s various tees, bottoms, outerwear, and accessories fall within “H&M and Zara prices” before noting that he hopes to grow the brand by seeking out collaborations in the future.

“My price range is like H&M and Zara prices, so I’m not trying to crush my consumers. I want them to be able to build the brand with me. Slowly roll out the pieces and hopefully some small collabs will come out. I’m just getting my feet wet in the fashion industry. I want them to be able to see that I’m actually authentic and genuine about it. Not just trying to do it because it looks nice.”

In addition to slowly increasing promotional efforts for his Black Pyramid clothing line, Brown has also been teasing several behind-the-scenes photos of himself and other celebrities donning pieces from the label, including Fetty Wap, French Montana, La La, and Kim Kardashian to name a few, in addition to recruiting close celebrity friends, such as Jhené Aiko, to appear in the upcoming lookbook for the collection that is expected to debut later this year.

The news comes just weeks after Chris Brown made headlines for reportedly dissing model Baylee Curran, who accused the “Everybody” singer of pointing a gun in her face during a confrontation at Brown’s home in Tarzana in August, with a new t-shirt design from his Black Pyramid clothing line. Last month, Brown took to Instagram to show off his latest t-shirt design, which features the phrase “THIS B**** LYIN'” on the front and artwork of a female in tears on the back, alongside two photos of himself donning the new t-shirt, ultimately prompting fans to gush over the not-so-subtle dig aimed at Curran on social media.

The shirt, which is still available in both black and white colorways, retails on Black Pyramid’s official website for $38 and nearly sold-out within hours of Brown debuting the design on his Instagram page last month. The design is still available on Black Pyramid’s website, albeit in a limited quantity and availability of sizes.
