WWE Spoilers: Jeri-KO Faces The Wrath Of Two Former Members Of The Shield On ‘Raw’ As ‘Survivor Series’ Build Continues

There are just two weeks until the annual Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) which will see WWE shows battle for brand supremacy. Oh yeah, there’s that little match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar too, but there won’t be a lot of focus on that this time around. With WWE on a European tour, the focus will be elsewhere on this week’s episodes and Monday Night Raw is bringing an interesting battle between an unlikely alliance and two former members of The Shield.

Last week on Raw, Chris Jericho went after one of the only titles he has never been able to capture and it’s the United States Championship. He took on Roman Reigns in the main event and as recapped by the official website of WWE, Reigns won the match…but it was by disqualification.

That ended up leading to a good bit of chaos, which will be picked up on Raw and WWE has released their preview for this week which will forward an interesting feud. At the same time, look for more matches to possibly be added to Survivor Series and new team members announced.

Can Jeri-KO evade the wrath of two former Shield brothers?

As last week’s Raw main event came to a close, Jericho’s ally and WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens ran out to take out Roman Reigns. With the United States Champion outnumbered, an unlikely savior ran down to the ring and fans weren’t quite sure what to think about it.

Many have wanted The Shield to reunite for a long time and Seth Rollins saving Reigns on the last Raw doesn’t necessarily mean a reconciliation, but it does make things interesting. Rollins and Reigns now have common enemies in Jeri-KO and may band together to take out the duo trying to take over WWE.

Who will be the final member of the Raw Men’s team at Survivor Series?

One spot remains on the Raw men’s team for Survivor Series and it’s likely that Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon will reveal that person this week. Reigns is already on the team along with Owens and Jericho, but he won’t have much support with Braun Strowman standing near.

On the other side of things, the SmackDown LIVE team has a full five men ready to battle as shown by the official preview page on WWE. Included on that team is the other former Shield brother in Dean Ambrose and it may seem only fitting if the third former member is added to the match. Other stars without a match so far include Sami Zayn and many others.

Only time will tell who ends up with the coveted fifth spot.

Which Superstars will The New Day and Charlotte Flair lead into battle?

The other two elimination-style tag team matches still have some open slots as well and they need to be filled soon. For the women’s match, Team SmackDown LIVE has a full five women ready to battle it out, but Charlotte Flair has two open slots to fill next to Nia Jax and Bayley.

For the 10-on-10 tag team traditional elimination match, Team SmackDown LIVE still has two remaining spots to fill but Team Raw has a lot more. The New Day will captain the team from Monday night but need to find eight other team members to join them at Survivor Series.

Who will answer Dolph Ziggler’s Intercontinental Championship challenge?

Last week on SmackDown LIVE, Dolph Ziggler issued an open challenge at Survivor Series and wanted to face off against someone from Monday Night Raw. His Intercontinental Title will be on the line, but who could possibly step up to take on the ultimate showoff?

As recently reported by the Inquisitr, WWE is going to keep Ziggler and the fans guessing on the IC Title opponent a while longer. The reveal of the Raw superstar challenging for the belt is not going to be revealed until the night of Survivor Series.

Did The Brian Kendrick light a fire inside TJ Perkins?

Brian Kendrick recently won the WWE Cruiserweight Title from TJ Perkins at Hell in a Cell, but it doesn’t look as if the former champion is just giving up. Last week, Kendrick held onto his title by walking out of the arena and getting himself purposely counted out. That may have sparked a new fight in Perkins as he wants his title back.

There is still a bit of time to build up more to Survivor Series and WWE is going to do it big time on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown LIVE. This week’s Raw seems to be focusing on a few other future feuds, though, and the pairing of two former members of The Shield in Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins is intriguing. It’s going to be interesting to see just how much these two former brothers and enemies can work together.
