Swansea Vs. Manchester United: Preview, Prediction, Possible Line-Ups, Betting Tips, & Kick Off Time

Manchester United will travel to Swansea following its loss in the Europa League in mid-week as the pressure mounts on Jose Mourinho to give positive results.

Both teams come into this game on the back of a defeat with Swansea losing to Stoke City in the Premier League and United losing to Fenerbahce in the EL.

A double from Wilfred Bony secured a 3-1 win over Swansea for Stoke, while a Moussa Sow spectacular strike and Jermain Lens strike secured a 2-1 deserved win over Man Utd, who got one back through Wayne Rooney’s long strike.

Jose Mourinho had a caustic review of his players after the game. Mourinho is not afraid to criticize his players in public and he did again after the loss against Turkish side.

“A team that concedes after two minutes is a team that is not ready, not mentally prepared, not focused, not concentrated,” said Mourinho, as per CNN.

“Our problems started in our global attitude. They were playing the Champions League final, we were playing a summer friendly. That is the reality of how the game started. They deserved to win, football is not just about quality, it is also about effort, commitment, playing the limits and giving everything. You have to play for 90 minutes in the maximum of your desire and concentration.”

Swansea vs. Manchester United: Prediction

United are under their worst spell under Jose Mourinho, as the club seems to plunge into abyss instead of progressing. The appointment of Mourinho was done in order to wash away the mediocre level the club was in while under Louis van Gaal, but now even the “Special One” has been unable to change United’s fortune after a series of bad results.

Manchester are winless in their last four league games, and we predict Jose Mourinho’s team to lose yet another game.

Final Predicted Score: Swansea 2-1 Manchester United
