Tamar Braxton Shades Toya Wright On Her Birthday, ‘Sipping While You Slipping’

Tamar Braxton appeared to throw some serious shade Toya Wright’s way as the celebrated her 33rd birthday.

Fans were quick to accuse Tamar of putting Wright on serious blast on social media, alleging that Braxton blasted Toya while skipping out on her birthday celebrations following the twosome’s nasty feud that hit the headlines earlier this month.

Tamar didn’t mention Toya by name in her pretty shady Instagram post, but did post a snap of herself and husband Vince Herbert sipping on a cocktail together while Wright celebrated her birthday with a huge party that she dubbed “Toya’s Player’s Ball.”

Braxton captioned her shot, “Sippin while u slippin” alongside a snoozing emoji, which fans were quick to point out had some pretty interesting timing as Tamar uploaded the post just one hour after Wright took to Instagram to share a video of herself heading to her big birthday party.

Tamar has yet to explicitly confirm if Toya is who she was referring to with her post, though fans were quick to accuse the Braxton Family Values star of throwing some serious shade Wright’s way amid their recent feud, noting that Tamar clearly didn’t attend Toya’s big birthday celebration, though it’s not clear if she was ever invited.

“Now, why you and Vince ain’t at the party???” Instagram user @dadiva723 asked Tamar in the photo’s caption, while @bbdots2916 wrote, “Y U R NOT AT TOYA BDAY PARTY? Everybody is there!”

“I don’t think Toya was expecting her to be there anyway,” social media user @glam_and_the_city added, “I really don’t think she cares.”

Tamar has not confirmed that her Instagram post was aimed at Toya after she ditched her birthday party, though Braxton’s message does have some pretty interesting timing.

Tamar Braxton and Toya Wright’s feud has hit the headlines numerous times over the past few weeks after Wright claimed in her book In My Own Words… My Reality, that Braxton unfollowed her across social media after she appeared on Season 3 of daytime talk show The Real in September after Tamar was fired from the show back in May.

Toya then continued to dish on their feud in various interviews, most recently putting Tamar on blast during an appearance on The Breakfast Club by describing her as not being a “real friend,” despite she and Braxton being friendly for years before their drama boiled over in September.

“My loyalty has never been questioned by a real friend,” Wright hit back when asked about her feud with Braxton on the radio show, while also revealing that Braxton refused to promote her book across her social media platforms.

Wright also dished on her and Tamar’s feud in an interview with Wetpaint, where she made it pretty clear that she has no plans to reunite with Braxton anytime soon.

“That situation I just don’t really understand,” Toya admitted when asked about her and Tamar’s feud, before admitting when asked if she and Braxton could ever be friends again, “Something about me, I live by these words, ‘When people show you who they really are, believe them.'”

Tamar then went on to hit back at Toya’s claims, seemingly confirming their feud by posting a message to Instagram about losing a friend, which she captioned in part, “You may MISS the person but good riddance!”

BET reported that Braxton later appeared to take aim at Wright once again on Instagram just days later in some now deleted posts.

“If you ever find yourself talking about me, make sure you finish off with ‘she doing her thing, though!'” Tamar allegedly wrote on the social media site after Wright discussed their feud, but has since deleted the upload.

“Some of y’all work on my d**n nerves,” Braxton then reportedly continued in another post. “I’m just trying to live my life drama and stress-free but I can understand how most of you don’t understand my JOY.”
