Meghan King Edmonds On Kelly Dodd: ‘She Had Every Reason To Feel Set Up By Shannon’

Meghan King Edmonds managed to stay out of most of the drama on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, especially when it came to the fighting that took place between the ladies and Kelly Dodd on that final night in Ireland. At the time, King Edmonds wasn’t feeling too well and she had skipped out on the dinner. When a producer asked Meghan to explain what had happened during that last night, she only knew that the ladies had fought in the hallway of the hotel. Meghan had no idea that Shannon Beador had been ordering drinks for Kelly despite her saying no.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that she felt that the final dinner in Ireland felt a little forced by the other ladies. While Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow may not have had a plan to get Kelly drunk, it sounds like Shannon Beador definitely had a motive to get her co-star very drunk. She ordered Kelly drinks behind her back and Meghan King Edmonds writes in her blog that she didn’t think it seemed genuine.

“After week two of the Ireland trip, what did y’all think? Of course it had even more drama! Since I was pregnant, I couldn’t participate, and I didn’t feel well for most of the trip, but watching these episodes back, I’m grateful for my baby girl for keeping me in my room away from it all,” Meghan King Edmonds revealed in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Bravo.

Of course, King Edmonds knows these ladies and she knows that there has been tension between Dodd and Beador. If Shannon really wanted to have fun, she would have let Kelly choose what she wanted to drink rather than order it for her. Meghan King Edmonds had missed out on all of this drama at the dinner table, but she was happy that she took some time to herself so she could be with her baby girl.

“It was strange to see Shannon asking for a double for Kelly. I don’t understand why she wanted to get her drunk? Since Kelly has a history of behaving badly when she’s drunk, I believe that she had every reason to feel set up by Shannon. I don’t know if that was the case, but that whole meal felt weird and a little forced. Of course, that meal then lead to World War III later that night! That car ride to the airport was not how I wanted to end my time in Ireland – just wait until next week when you see the rest of the footage,” Meghan King Edmonds revealed in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Bravo.

While King Edmonds missed the dinner, the ladies have claimed that they had no motive to bring down Dodd during the final dinner. Tamra Judge revealed in her blog that she was served alcohol as well, but chose not to drink. She points out that her co-star could just have ignored the drink and just stuck to water. No one was forcing her to drink, even though her co-stars kept ordering drinks for her. While King Edmonds wasn’t present to help out her friend, it sounds like Meghan feels that everything was set up for a reason.
