‘Bachelorette’ Star Kaitlyn Bristowe Makes A Date With ‘Big Brother’ Winner Nicole Franzel

Kaitlyn Bristowe is a Big Brother superfan, and now she is taking things to the next level. Bristowe, who was the star of the 11th season of The Bachelorette, has reached out to Big Brother Season 18 winner Nicole Franzel to suggest that they hang out now that Franzel has officially moved out of the CBS summertime house.

Kaitlyn has been tweeting about Big Brother all summer, and earlier this month, she joked about befriending Franzel and her showmance, Corey Brooks. Bristowe also tagged her fiance, Shawn Booth, in the post, setting the stage for a double date.

“I can’t wait to force friendship on Nicole and Corey when they get out of the house,” Kaitlyn wrote.

Once she got wind of Kaitlyn’s suggestion, Franzel took to Twitter to reveal that she would love to hang out with her sometime. The BB18 winner also thanked Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth for all of their love and support as she competed on the CBS reality show this season.

Bristowe’s fiance replied to Franzel’s tweet by saying he and Kaitlyn are down for a get together with their fellow reality TV couple.

“Let’s do this. Drinks are on Nicole,” Booth tweeted about the Big Brother winner, who took home a $500,000 prize last week.

In addition, Corey Brooks chimed in that he’s game for some friendship and free drinks.

Kaitlyn Bristowe has been a staunch defender of Nicole Franzel. Kaitlyn previously called out critics of the two-time Big Brother contestant, who was slammed for her showmance with Brooks just two years after she hooked up with BB contestant Hayden Voss.

“People are mad I like Nicole,” Kaitlyn wrote earlier this month. “I bet you all would be perfect, make no mistakes, and everyone would love you if you were on TV right? Pfffff.”

Although some Big Brother fans felt that Nicole didn’t deserve to win the grand prize, Kaitlyn Bristowe defended the Michigan resident’s place in the BB history books.

“I’m pumped she won,” Bristowe wrote. “Smart woman, cute, loves to nap & wins comps. I like it, I like it a lot.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe knows a thing or two about being judged on reality TV and also about the double standard that female reality stars sometimes face, so perhaps that is why she was so drawn to Franzel.

While Kaitlyn Bristowe’s fiance joked that Franzel should pick up the tab on their future date, the Big Brother winner may have other plans for her money. In an interview on The Talk, Nicole said she plans to hire a money manager because she doesn’t know how to handle such a big windfall.

“First, I have to go to a financial adviser, because I don’t know what to do with that much money,” she said. “But, it’s been a long three months, so I’m going to take my family on a vacation. I think we all deserve a little getaway. Then, I’ll put the rest away for my future.”

Still, with $500,000 in her bank account, Nicole can probably afford to spring for a round of drinks for Kaitlyn and Shawn. We can only hope that some TV cameras will be on hand to document the mash-up of these two popular reality shows as The Bachelorette meets Big Brother.

Incidentally, Kaitlyn Bristowe isn’t just forcing friendship on Nicole and Corey. In a separate tweet, Kaitlyn told Big Brother alum Daniele Donato that she would love to be friends with her, too. Bristowe revealed that she is in the process of getting Shawn Booth into every past season of the CBS reality show and that Donato’s season is on their list.
