Onkyo Shows Off Two New Windows 7 Ready Amplifiers

The Onkyo TX-NA5007 and TX-NA1007 amplifiers have been announced and are Windows 7 compatible and really expensive.

According to Onkyo Japn the TX-NA5007 is a 200 watt 9 channel reciever while the TX-NA1007 offers 180 watts on the same 9 channels. Both units are also DLNA compliant and at this time ship only in Black. The systems also offer Dolby NR Professional Logic IIz support, ship with Dolby NR TreuHD and offer DTS-HD Mater.

They also both support WAV, WMA, WMA Lossless, MP3, AAC, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis formats. However they won’t come cheap with the TX-NA5007 at $4000 and the TX-NA1007 at $2850. If it’s any the more expensive model offers 8 HDMI ports inputs and 2 outputs, while the cheaper unit still offers 6 inputs and 2 outputs.

Both Onkyo receivers are set to hit Japan stores on September 11th, which should give you just enough time to get one imported before your Windows 7 upgrade arrives.
