Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston Continue To Spend Time Apart Amid Fight Rumors, Are They Getting Engaged?

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston may not be at odds over the distance between them after all.

Following a report which claimed the singer and actor had engaged in a major fight due to their time apart, a source claims Taylor Swift is “happy” to give her boyfriend some alone time as he films the third installment of Thor.

“[Taylor Swift is] happy to give Tom space while he is away working. It’s not an issue for her that they’ve got this time apart from one another,” a source explained to Hollywood Life on August 24. “She understands she can’t be with him 24/7, and even if she was in Australia with him, Taylor would hardly see Tom because he’d be busy on set.”

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston spent tons of time together in June after going public with their romance with a series of kissing photos on the beach in Rhode Island. In addition to a trip to Nashville, Tennessee, where Hiddleston met Swift’s parents, the couple was photographed in the U.K., where Swift met Hiddleston’s mom, Italy and Australia.

Now, however, it is back to business for Hiddleston which means he’ll be spending quite a lot of time away from his singer girlfriend in the coming weeks due to his commitment to film in Australia. That said, Taylor Swift is welcome to join Hiddleston in Australia whenever she pleases.

“Tom’s opened the door for her to come and see him in Australia, so she’s safe in the knowledge that if she begins to miss him too much, she can simply fly over,” the source said.

Although Hollywood Life claims Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are on good terms when it comes to their busy schedules, that may not have always been the case. Earlier this week, an Us Weekly source claimed Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston had engaged in a “major argument” in early August.

“They weren’t spending as much time together,” the source explained. “There was so much going on so it was hard making their schedules work and they were upset they couldn’t see each other.”

While tensions reportedly arose between the couple, the source confirmed they had already shaken off their first disagreement and after doing so, Hiddleston flew to her Rhode Island compound for a two-day visit before traveling back to Australia for work.

“Tom is busier than her right now, so it’s been hard. They’ve had some schedule issues, but things are otherwise fine. They are making it work,” the source explained.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are just over two months into their romance, and already they’ve been facing rumors regarding an impending engagement. Weeks ago, a source claimed Hiddleston had plans to propose to Taylor Swift, who would “definitely” agree to a future wedding.

“Tom is planning to propose very soon,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this month, and “[Taylor Swift] would definitely say yes.”

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston don’t appear to be engaged quite yet, but judging by their regular outings with one another, they are going strong as they continue with their long-distance relationship.

Prior to dating Hiddleston, Taylor Swift was in a long-term romance with Calvin Harris. Following 15 months of dating, the musical couple parted ways in late May after Harris was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles. Two weeks later, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston went public with their relationship.
