Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Tom Hiddleston Opens Up About Their Relationship And The Ongoing Rumors

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, got candid about their romance during a new interview.

Following two months of intense dating, Hiddleston spoke out about the attention he and his girlfriend have received due to their whirlwind romance.

“We all live in a world where every phone has a camera and there’s nothing new, really, about the spotlight on me. I think that’s what happens when you’re a public figure,” Hiddleston explained to The Hollywood Reporter on August 12.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston began dating in early June after the singer split from her former boyfriend of 15 months, Calvin Harris. Immediately after the couple went public with an outing in Rhode Island, in which they didn’t hesitate to showcase some major PDA, Swift was accused of moving on from Harris too soon and many even suggested that she had started up her romance with Hiddleston prior to her split.

As Taylor Swift fans may recall, the singer and actor were seen dancing together at the Met Gala in New York City in early May, just weeks before she and Harris split.

Also adding fuel to the fire was the fact that Harris deleted a tweet about his and Swift’s supposedly civilized split after the photos of her and Hiddleston in Rhode Island were released.

“What have I learned about it? I’ve learned to—I don’t know, maybe it’s too soon to tell. Um, I’ve learned that there are many sides to a story, and that sometimes there are a lot of stories out there which are false, and the hardest thing is to try to not let those falsehoods affect your own life,” Hiddleston said of the ongoing rumors. “That’s what I would say.”

As Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston continue on with their romance, which has already taken them to the U.K., Australia, Italy, and Nashville, Tennessee, rumors regarding their potential engagement, and their potential split, continue to swirl. That said, they don’t appear to be at all bothered.

“Tom’s love has been great for Taylor and he has been a great source of creative energy for her,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life.

According to the report, Taylor Swift is using her love to inspire new songs.

“He listens to all her musical ideas and has been encouraging her as she writes new lyrics for songs — and she has lots to write about,” the source said. “The whole process has been easy for her as long as Tom is around. He really has been a new muse for Taylor.”

While things between Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston appear to be going well, they do have one major issue: distance. Currently, Swift is spending the majority of her time between Los Angeles and New York while Hiddleston continues to film scenes for Thor 3 in Australia. Still, as another source explained, they are doing their best to deal with the relationship challenge.

“Taylor and Tom are completely fine. They are enjoying the break from each other, but are always talking and sending each other messages throughout the day,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Plus with them being apart the absence is definitely making the heart grow fonder. They really are seeing that their relationship is strong because they are thinking of each other a lot while they are away from each other. Everything is really cool with them right now.”

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were most recently seen on a date in Santa Monica, California.
