Selena Gomez Enjoys ‘Memorable’ Show In Australia Amid Justin Bieber Rumors
Selena Gomez shared a post with fans on Twitter on Tuesday after her latest show in Australia.
Following her interview with Vogue Australia, in which the 24-year-old singer discussed how her love life, the majority of which has involved Justin Bieber, has overshadowed her music career at times, Gomez spoke of her recent tour stop in Sydney.
“Such a memorable show in Sydney tonight.. I’ll never forget this one. Thanks for singing along with me-woke up with a sore throat… I LOVE U,” Selena Gomez tweeted on August 9.
Selena Gomez is currently in the midst of her Revival World Tour, which kicked off in May and will continue on until December. During the Oceania leg of her tour, Selena Gomez performed shows in Melbourne and Sydney and tomorrow night, August 11, she is scheduled for a concert in Brisbane.

Just one day before she performed her latest show in Sydney, Australia, Selena Gomez sparked rumors of a potential new romance when she shared a video of herself and a mystery man enjoying a “cuddle sesh.” In the video, Selena Gomez was seen on top of someone whose face was not visible in the clip. As Hollywood Life revealed, rumors of a Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber reunion swirled earlier this month after the singer was seen dancing to his new song, “Cold Water,” but now they don’t appear to be anything more than friends as Gomez possibly embarks on a romance with someone new.
Selena Gomez began dating Justin Bieber in 2010 and continued to date on and off until last year, when they were spotted together at a hotel in Los Angeles. Since then, Gomez and Bieber have been flirty with one another on social media and Gomez was seen attending one of the singer’s Los Angeles shows in March. Still, when it comes to a future romance, the chances appear to be slim — especially judging by Bieber’s clear interest in a number of other women.

During her interview with Vogue Australia, Selena Gomez expressed her interest in a low-profile relationship but said that it is hard for her to find the type of guy she wants. Although Selena Gomez is certainly approached by men who want to date her, she said that what she attracts is simply not what she’s attracted to.
Selena Gomez also opened up about living out her private life in the eye of the public.
“For a while my private life was the most talked about thing,” Selena Gomez told the magazine, according to a report by Vanity Fair earlier this week. “Nobody really knows everything and they can only assume. You want to do what you love but all this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously.”
Following her romance with Bieber, Selena Gomez was linked to One Direction’s Niall Horan, actor Orlando Bloom, singer Charlie Puth, and Samuel Krost. However, nothing substantial appeared to pan out with any of the men.
As for her popular song, “Same Old Love,” which was rumored to be written about her ex-boyfriend, Bieber, Selena Gomez was questioned about the backstory.
“‘Same Old Love’ is so obvious in what it’s about; it’s a cycle of a very vicious relationship,” Selena Gomez explained. “Even though that is such a huge narrative of my life… I was so adamant that I didn’t want that to be my story.”
