Lamar Odom Is ‘Dying’ After Reported Drug Relapse, No Longer Included On Khloe Kardashian’s Insurance Policy

Lamar Odom is reportedly headed for death as he continues to spiral out of control nearly one year after drugs almost took his life.

Following a series of photos, which featured Lamar Odom getting drunk on a plane and then vomiting on himself, Khloe Kardashian has reportedly kicked the former NBA star off of her insurance policy.

According to a new report, Liza Morales, the mother of Lamar Odom’s two children, Destiny and Lamar Jr., was searching for a treatment center where Odom could get the substance abuse treatment he so badly needs when she discovered that Odom is no longer covered by the reality star’s policy.

“They exchanged angry and heated phone calls and text messages, but Khloé’s mindset is that she’s done everything she can to help [Lamar Odom],” a source revealed to In Touch Weekly on August 8.

Lamar Odom nearly died after suffering a drug overdose on October 13, 2015 after spending several days partying with women at a legal brothel. Right away, Khloe Kardashian flew via private jet to be at his side along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sister, Kim Kardashian.

Although many believed Lamar Odom would not make it through his recovery, he awoke from his coma days after his hospitalization and continued to recover in Los Angeles for three months.

Once Lamar Odom was released from the hospital in January, Kardashian rented him a home in Calabasas, California, where he could be close to her family, but after someone reportedly discovered a crack pipe at the home, she failed to renew the lease, and he moved back to New York City, where he’s been ever since.

Lamar Odom “indicated he doesn’t want or need her help,” the source explained.

Earlier this year on Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 12, Lamar Odom was seen discussing the possibility of getting remarried to Kardashian, but after Odom reportedly returned to drinking and drugs, Kardashian opted to re-file her divorce documents and end her marriage to Odom once and for all.

Kardashian initially filed for divorce from Lamar Odom in December 2013, but after his overdose, she opted to request that her documents be thrown out so that she could continue to assist the former professional athlete as he recovered from his overdose.

Now, however, Kardashian has reportedly reached her breaking point with Lamar Odom and after seeing that he clearly does not want to get help for his struggles with addiction, she has removed her support from him entirely.

“He’s gone back to partying, drinking and doing drugs,” another source told In Touch Weekly. “His kidneys never fully recovered from the overdose, and doctors have told him that going back to his old lifestyle will guarantee his death.”

At the end of last month, Khloe Kardashian reportedly begged Lamar Odom to enter rehab, but he didn’t want to do so. Then, after arriving in New York City, he was reportedly faced with an intervention by Morales which he “stormed out” of.

“His body just can’t take much more of the abuse he’s putting it through,” the source continued. “It’s like [Lamar Odom] has a death wish.”
