Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Have Started Planning Their Wedding [Report]

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly planning to get married.

Less than one year into their romance, sources claim the couple, who has not yet confirmed that they are officially engaged, hired a wedding planner and have begun to plan their ceremony.

“Rumors are circulating in their circle that they’ve begun preparations for a wedding,” a source told People Magazine on August 8. “There’s no date set, but they’re planning ahead and having fun talking about it.”

“[Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] are madly in love, committed and planning for a future together,” the source explained.

Last week, TMZ was first to report news of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s allegedly impending wedding, revealing they had hired celebrity wedding designer Jerri Woolworth, who works out of Tennessee and New York. As the report noted, Woolworth has planned a number of events, including events for the Country Music Awards, the NFL and the NHL.

“They are not engaged yet,” a source close to Gwen Stefani revealed to People Magazine earlier this month. “Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, though.”

Currently, Gwen Stefani is in the midst of her “This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour,” which includes 28 shows in North America. Meanwhile, Blake Shelton recently resumed filming on The Voice for the NBC series’ upcoming 11th season.

“It seems the timing [for an engagement] just hasn’t been right,” the source said. “But Gwen is very, very happy with Blake. She always acts giddy when she talks about Blake.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton revealed they had begun dating in November 2015 as they filmed The Voice Season 9. At the time, both Stefani and Shelton were newly single after splitting from their former spouses, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, respectively.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale had been married for 13 years and share three children together, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, while Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were married for 4 years and had not started a family together.

Since Gwen Stefani embarked on her “This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour” in July, Blake Shelton has been a regular audience member and taken the stage at least twice to perform their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”

“Blake has been very excited for her,” added the Stefani source. “He understands the pressure of a tour before it all kicks off, and he is Gwen’s biggest fan.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton wrote “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” together at the end of last year just a short time after they began dating. Then, in early 2016, they performed the track during The Voice Season 10.

“Their relationship is almost too good to be true,” the Stefani source continued. “They are very much alike and really have a very special relationship. All the things that need to work out for two people to merge lives have worked out.”

Although Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have yet to announce their engagement and potential plans for a wedding, they continue to spend time together in Los Angeles, where Stefani resides, and in Oklahoma, where Shelton has a home.

As Gwen Stefani continues her tour of North America, her country singer boyfriend is preparing to embark on his own tour after releasing his latest album, If I’m Honest, earlier this year, and when he does, as per People Magazine, Stefani will be there to support him at his shows.
