Yolanda Foster To Appear On ‘RHOBH’ Season 7 As An ‘Occasional Guest Star’

Has Yolanda Foster suddenly had a change of heart about her decision to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Although Yolanda Foster announced she was leaving the show after Season 6 in a post to fans on Instagram in June, a new report claims the model and mother of Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid, will be seen in an “occasional” role on Season 7.

On August 4, Life & Style shared a report, claiming Lisa Vanderpump’s nemesis, Yolanda Foster, is now “just an occasional guest star.”

News of Yolanda Foster’s alleged guest role comes just a short time after she confirmed she would not be seen on the show.

“I would have loved a more graceful exit [than] ‘Season 6’ but sometimes we don’t get to control the ending of the chapters in our life………….. I am leaving what’s over without denying its past importance in my life,” Yolanda Foster explained to her fans and followers on Instagram months ago. “I believe that every exit is an new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv Family as I continue to focus on a my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home.”

Yolanda Foster went on to thank her fans for their love and support throughout her four years on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She also spoke of the exit being her “choice,” although it was rumored at the time that she had only chosen to leave the show after producers opted to demote her from a full-time role to a part-time role.

In a TMZ report around the time of Yolanda Foster’s statement to fans, a source claimed producers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had offered a part-time role to Foster so that she would have more free time to address her ongoing struggles with Lyme disease. However, rather than take the role, Foster felt as if she were being treated like a “second-class citizen” and decided to leave the show all together.

“Bravo isn’t bitter about the split — and has let [Yolanda Foster] know she is still welcome to appear on future episodes… as a friend,” the outlet reported at the time.

During the final episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6, the reunion special, Yolanda Foster opened up about her divorce from husband David Foster, which was confirmed on the finale episode of the show.

“It didn’t just happen overnight. I got sick a couple of months before we got married, and I dropped off the planet. Being chronically ill for that long takes the life out of you, but also your caretaker,” Yolanda Foster explained to her co-stars and reunion host Andy Cohen.

“[David didn’t change… he is a really good man,” Yolanda Foster continued, as reported by Us Weekly in April.

“We had a falling out on November 2, and we both just had to make conscious decisions on where this is going,” she said. “I didn’t think that that was the end of the road. I would have hoped to wait until I got 100 percent well.”

Yolanda Foster and her husband, David Foster, announced they were ending their marriage after just four years in December 2015. Months later, fans watched as the end of their relationship played out on the show and concluded with Foster’s heartbreaking announcement of divorce to her co-star and friend Erika Girardi.
