Could Fifth Harmony be on the verge of a break up?
Rumors have been swirling that all may not be well between Fifth Harmony bandmates Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui for months now, and now fans are speculating that their most recent drama could spell a potential break up.
Fifth Harmony fans flocked to Twitter this week to speculate about an impending break up after it was revealed that the girls had suddenly cancelled four stops on the U.S. leg of their “7/27 tour” without explanation.
The Fifth Harmony girls are still yet to comment on the sudden cancellations, which got fans speculating that feuds and drama within the band could be behind the surprising decision.
“Fifth Harmony are over they’re [going to] break up after this tour just watch,” @dopevinyI speculated on Twitter, and social media user @2amcabeIIo asked the band, “You’ll break up after this tour? Right? @FifthHarmony.”
“The girls are with each other constantly, so anytime away is a breath of fresh air because they all get on each other’s nerves,” a source told Hollywood Life amid the confusion over the cancelled tour dates, but added that the recent tour and feud drama don’t necessarily mean a break-up is on the cards anytime soon.
“It is not something that is going to break them up anytime soon,” the site’s source confirmed of Fifth Harmony’s in-band drama.
“They don’t want to separate as a group to achieve their other goals,” the source added. “The chances of another album are very likely.”
But while a source close to Fifth Harmony is denying that a split could be imminent, feuds and fighting within the band have long been reported.
The Fifth Harmony star quickly described Ally Brooke as “Sunshine,” Dinah Jane as a “turn up queen” and Lauren Jauregui as a “therapist” for the band, but then hesitated when it came to Camila before eventually settling on “quirky” and “cute.”
The pretty awkward moment came just weeks after Perez Hilton hinted at a feud between Camila and her bandmates after she took to Snapchat to reveal that she opted to stay back at the girls’ hotel in South America while Lauren, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke and Normani celebrated the Fourth of July together.
The Fifth Harmony drama rumor mill also went into overdrive just weeks earlier after Lauren’s mom hinted at a feud on social media while calling out Camila’s manager for failing to acknowledge the other girls on social media when praising Camila on her big Much Music Video Award wins.
“SO proud of @camilacabello97 who won 4 #MMVAs last night,” Camila’s manager Roger Gold tweeted out in part, to which Lauren’s mom hit back by slamming Gold for ignoring that half of Camila’s awards also belonged to Fifth Harmony.
“Lets get it right 2 were thanks to @FifthHarmony. Just keeping it real” Jauregui’s mom hit back, though the tweet has since been deleted.
