‘Big Brother 18’ Spoilers: ‘Zaulie’ Saga Continues As Zakiyah Left Angered And Sobbing After Heated Confrontation With Paulie [Spoilers]

The Big Brother 18 saga of Zakiyah Everette and Paulie Calafiore, affectionately known to some as the showmance called “Zaulie,” continued on the live feeds Monday night as the two were butting heads once again over gameplay and loyalties.

As the Inquisitr has previously reported, the Zaulie relationship, which has seen a number of ups and downs, has been more down than up recently as it seems the two are fighting every other day about something.

When Zakiyah gets upset, emotions are usually involved and pertain to jealousy over Paulie’s interactions with other female houseguests, or Zakiyah’s belief Paulie doesn’t really care for her or want to get to know her.

On the other hand, when an issue commences on Paulie’s end, it usually involves his ire over something Zakiyah has done in the Big Brother 18 game that may jeopardize his status.

Monday’s blow up began sometime around 6 p.m. Big Brother 18 time, according to Joker’s Updates. Paulie was talking poorly about Zakiyah behind her back to Nicole Franzel, saying Zakiyah has a bad attitude and is trying to copy his sleep schedule because he stays up late to talk game. He also said, “Zakiyah follows me around.”

Not long after, Zakiyah spoke with Paulie about Da’Vonne Rogers, who is currently the target for eviction this week. Paulie told her Da’Vonne, who is close with Zakiyah, can’t be trusted and wants him gone. Although Zakiyah tried to assure him Da’Vonne is not coming after him, Paulie seemed dismissive of her argument.

Joker’s Updates reports Zakiyah then conceded to Paulie’s notions and said, possibly with a bit of sarcasm, that she “really doesn’t care” and is “fine” with sending Da’Vonne out the door because “…apparently Da’Vonne is dangerous to everyone’s game.”

Paulie eventually began to grill Zakiyah, according to Joker’s Updates, on a conversation she had with Michelle Meyer on Sunday, basically calling her a liar when she informed him that nothing really important was discussed.

Later, when talking to Nicole about her encounter with Paulie, Zakiyah started “bawling,” proclaiming Paulie is playing with her emotions, according to Joker’s Updates. The two women decided Zakiyah should head to the secret room, and Nicole would send Paulie to meet her. As this was taking place, Paulie was in another room telling Victor that Zakiyah continued to lie to him.

Zakiyah followed Nicole’s advice, but she waited in the tunnel rather than the room itself. According to #BB18 Feed Updates, Zakiyah sat in the red-lit tunnel watching a monitor showing the sky bridge as she waited for Paulie.

Outside the tunnel, Nicole was informing Paulie about Zakiyah crying, which seemed to surprise him. Paulie then responded by saying, Zakiyah “…is trying to play you… she’s trying to play all of us.”

Although he knew Zakiyah was waiting for him, Paulie headed to the Head of Household (HOH) to speak to Paul, the week 6 HOH. According to Joker’s Updates, he told Paul he caught Zakiyah in some lies, and she is now panicking.

Paulie finally made his way to the secret room and found Zakiyah still in the tunnel.

The two entered the adjoining room, and a back and forth began involving accusations and tears. Paulie continued to call Zakiyah a liar, but she reassured him she had been truthful, and this will be confirmed when he watches the show later, Joker’s Updates reports. Paulie told Zakiyah, “I don’t give a [expletive] what I watch,” and as she became “increasingly frustrated,” the tears started flowing.

Paulie continued to “berate” Zakiyah, Joker’s Updates writes, calling her “phony,” “dramatic,” and saying she was making a big deal out of nothing.

Zakiyah informed Paulie he doesn’t realize he’s making her feel bad, and she is at a loss as to how to speak to him. Joker’s Updates reports that Zakiyah said she believed her loyalty to him “was enough.”

Paulie replied by denying his poor treatment of Zakiyah and then attempted to make her guilty by stating he didn’t understand “why he had his arms around someone who didn’t trust him,” Joker’s Updates reports. At around 9:22 p.m., Paulie told Zakiyah, “…don’t tell me what I’m trying to do,” informed her the conversation was over and left her alone in the secret room sobbing.

A few hours after the heated confrontation, Zakiyah told Da’Vonne and Michelle what took place. Da’Vonne did a happy dance after speaking with Zakiyah, celebrating the fact that Zakiyah is no longer beholding to Paulie.

Michelle reacted with anger, according to #BB18 Feed Updates calling Paulie a few choice names and pleaded with Zakiyah not to get involved with Paulie again because of the way he makes her look on national television. Zakiyah swore to Michelle she would never “feel that weak again” and won’t vote for Paulie to win the grand prize if he ends up in the Big Brother 18 final two, Joker’s Updates reports.

Zaulie has been in dramatic fights prior, and as Carter Matt notes, the two could easily be “together again later on down the road.” Paulie is now in power and is likely setting his showmance aside because he believes he no longer needs it.

Nonetheless, Carter Matt had an apt piece of advice for Paulie, noting, “There are still jurors voting at the end of this,” and Zakiyah, if she lands in the jury house before Paulie, “could easily poison people against him.”
