‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Pleas Guilty, Chelsea Vows To Get Revenge, And Summer Turns The Tables on Luca

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that lies, betrayal, and heartache will plague Genoa City during the week of July 19. Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) pleads guilty to murder and gets a hefty sentence. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) vows to get revenge against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for setting up her husband for Constance Bingham’s (Sally Kellerman) alleged murder. Summer Newman (Hunter King) discovers that Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) was lying to her, and never had any feelings for her. She pulls the plug on their relationship, leaving him on the outside of Newman Enterprises.

The Young and the Restless promo video for the week of July 19 shows Adam deciding to take the plea bargain after the cards are stacked against him. He knows he didn’t kill Constance, but his father (and Chloe) framed him, and there’s nothing he can do. He decides to accept his fate and hope that eventually, the truth will come out.

Adam decided to plead guilty to the murder charge, and the judge sentenced him to 30 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in the same jail as Victor. Adam feels defeated as he thinks this is exactly what his dad wanted all along — to make him pay for turning on him. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint there could be a heated exchange between the father and son, and Victor may reveal something that could lead to Adam’s freedom. Is it possible that he will tell Adam that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is behind the framing?

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Adam tells his father that he made a dangerous move when he put him behind bars. Chelsea is gunning for him, and won’t rest until he is home again. Adam suggested he tell where the real diary is hidden, avoiding all heartache. Of course, Victor denied knowing anything about the “real diary.”

Soap Opera Spy reports that Chelsea will make a bold move and confront Victor about setting Adam up for murder in his GC hospital room. She pulls a small knife out and threatens to cut him if he doesn’t tell her where the evidence is that will clear Adam’s name. Victor refuses to help and tells her he’s sorry for her pain. Even though Victor refuses to give up any information, The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Chelsea knows he is holding back, and won’t rest until he pays for sending Adam away for 30 years.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Summer turns the tables on Luca, and plays him for a fool. There are no details what she does exactly, but it is likely that she makes sure he isn’t involved with Newman Enterprises at all. She reveals that she is tired of being played by men, and this time she will do the hurting. It’s an interesting turn of events because many Young and the Restless fans expected Summer to allow him complete access to her grandfather’s billion-dollar company. In the fans eyes, Summer became more likable with this power move alone.

The Young and the Restless is in the middle of July sweeps. It seems like there should be some action this week between Chloe and Chelsea, as it is only a matter of time before she bumps into her in Genoa City. And, when that happens, expect big fireworks, as Chelsea pieces together that she framed Adam for murder, with Victor’s help.
