‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stassi Schroeder Welcomes Ex-Boyfriend Jax Taylor To Podcast

Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor just got back together — but only for about an hour.

Although the former Vanderpump Rules couple has endured quite the dramatic past, they put their differences aside earlier this week when Stassi Schroeder invited Taylor to appear on her Podcast series, Straight Up With Stassi.

“I’m not sure if I’m proud or mortified about my next guest. I don’t know whether I’m selling my soul or whether I’m standing up for women everywhere by making this happen,” Stassi Schroeder said of welcoming her ex-boyfriend to her show, according to a report by All About The Real Housewives on July 6.

Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor were in a committed relationship during the first season of Vanderpump Rules, but unfortunately, that didn’t stop Taylor from cheating on her in Las Vegas, which ultimately ended their romance. While there were tons of denials at first, Taylor eventually admitted to cheating on Stassi Schroeder and also revealed he had slept with her former best friend, Kristen Doute, who used to date his close friend Tom Sandoval.

As he chatted with his ex-girlfriend on her show, Taylor spoke of his infidelity, admitting that when he was younger, cheating felt like second nature.

“I’m a bad example, but it just became easy, it was like instinct,” Taylor explained. “And that’s really sad and that’s really disturbing that it almost became like I knew I was gonna do it. Like, it was just an OK thing. Most people would be like, ‘OK, I’m doing this. I’m doing this.’ I didn’t think about it. I just did it, and I didn’t care.”

After splitting from Stassi Schroeder years ago, Taylor dated Carmen Dickman for several months and was also linked to Tiffany Matthews. However, those relationships, which appeared to overlap on the show, eventually ended and in early 2015, Taylor began dating Brittany Cartwright, whom fans — and Stassi Schroeder — met during Vanderpump Rules Season 4.

“I think she’s adorable. I really like her a lot,” Stassi Schroeder revealed to The Daily Dish in February.

During Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s engagement party at the home of Lisa Vanderpump last year, Stassi Schroeder met Taylor’s new girlfriend for the first time, and right away, they appeared to hit it off.

“I think after watching her on TV, she handles herself with so much grace. She’s like a true Southern girl,” Stassi Schroeder said. “When somebody’s saying something to her that might be rude, whereas I would probably say something snarky right back, she just has this genuine smile and nods and goes on with what she’s doing. And it’s not a fake smile, it’s seriously how Southern girls are raised — except, I don’t know why I wasn’t like that. I missed that one.”

As Taylor engaged in a romance with Cartwright, Stassi Schroeder was involved in her own romance with fellow radio host Patrick Meagher. However, while Taylor and Cartwright’s relationship has been chronicled on the show, Stassi Schroeder’s boyfriend has refused to film, and at this point, it is hard to say if he will ever make so much as a guest appearance.
